Quickstart

1. Open your inventory and head to the Building Blocks creative tab to find the Backrooms Floor block, or craft it yourself (see below).
2. Craft 8 Backrooms Floor blocks by surrounding a piece of Yellow Wool with Sandstone:

1. Place the block anywhere — floors, walls, or ceilings — to instantly tile your build with the eerie, yellowed look of the backrooms.

Jp Backroom Floor adds a single decorative block — the Backrooms Floor — that captures the unsettling, liminal atmosphere of the backrooms. Its off-yellow, tiled texture is instantly recognizable and slots naturally into horror builds, liminal-space recreations, brutalist structures, or any project that needs a creepy institutional feel.

How To Use

Place the Backrooms Floor just like any vanilla block — right-click to set it down, and it tiles seamlessly across any surface. Use it for:

• Floors — recreate the iconic backrooms carpet-less tile look.
• Walls & Ceilings — the texture works on every face for fully immersive rooms.
• Horror or liminal builds — pair with dim lighting and long corridors for maximum unease.

Crafting And Obtaining

The recipe is unlocked automatically as soon as you join a world. Craft it at a crafting table:

One craft yields 8 Backrooms Floor blocks. The block is also available directly from the Building Blocks creative tab.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Durability: Equivalent to Stone — tough enough for permanent builds.
• Mining tool: Breaks fastest with a pickaxe. Without one it takes longer, just like stone.
• Purely decorative: The block has no special redstone, light, or gameplay effects — it exists entirely for aesthetics.
