Ironbound Deity

Quickstart

1. Open your inventory or creative search and grab the Ironbound Deity spawn egg.
2. Use the egg on the ground in an Overworld area to summon the Ironbound Deity, or simply explore the Overworld — it can spawn naturally alongside other creatures.
3. Keep your distance at first: this is a much stronger, oversized version of an evoker. Bring good armor, a weapon, and ranged options.
4. Defeat it to collect its loot, which includes a generous bonus of iron ingots on top of typical evoker drops.

Overview

The Ironbound Deity is a towering, iron-clad boss-like variant of the evoker. It looms over normal illagers, hits much harder, and moves faster, making it a serious threat for underprepared players. Beneath its imposing armor and spellcasting fury lies a rewarding fight — defeating it yields a stash of iron in addition to its usual magical loot.

What It Adds

• Ironbound Deity — a massive, iron-armored evoker-type hostile mob.
• Ironbound Deity Spawn Egg — used to summon the Ironbound Deity directly.

How To Use

• Spawn Egg: Find or obtain the Ironbound Deity spawn egg and right-click (or use) on a block or in the air to spawn the mob at that location.
• Natural Encounters: The Ironbound Deity can also appear on its own while exploring the Overworld, so be ready to fight one unexpectedly.
• Combat: Treat it like an elite evoker — expect spellcasting attacks and aggressive pursuit. It has a long detection range, so it will notice and chase you from far away.

Crafting And Obtaining

There are no crafting recipes for this mod. The Ironbound Deity and its spawn egg are obtained through creative inventory access/commands or by finding the spawn egg in survival-appropriate means, and the mob itself can also appear through natural world spawning.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Evoker Spellcasting: Inherits the classic evoker's magical attacks, including summoning fangs and other illager-style spells.
• Massive Health Pool: Far tougher than a standard evoker, capable of soaking up significant damage before falling.
• Faster Movement: Moves quicker than a normal evoker, making it harder to outrun.
• Extended Awareness: Notices players from a long distance, so stealth approaches are less effective.
• Bonus Loot: Always drops a bundle of extra iron ingots when defeated, on top of any loot a normal evoker would leave behind.

Progression And Strategy

• Approach encounters prepared with strong armor and a ranged weapon, since its spells can catch you off guard at range.
• Because of its size and strength, it's best fought in open areas where you can dodge its magical attacks and summoned fangs.
• Defeating it is a solid source of iron, making it worth hunting down for players who want a quick supply boost alongside typical illager rewards.
• Use the spawn egg to practice fighting it safely before encountering one naturally in the wild.
