Iron Shooter

Quickstart

1. Craft the Iron Shooter at a crafting table using the recipe below, or grab it from the Combat tab in Creative Mode.
2. Hold it in your hand and right-click (use/interact) to fire.
3. A fast iron bullet shoots in the direction you are looking, dealing 8 damage on hit.
4. Each shot triggers a short cooldown — you can fire again after about 10 ticks (0.5 seconds).

Overview

The Iron Shooter is a compact ranged weapon that launches visible iron-bullet projectiles at high speed. It is a single-stack item found in the Combat category and works as a reliable mid-range weapon for picking off targets without needing arrows or ammo.

What It Adds

How To Use

• Right-click while holding the Iron Shooter to fire a bullet in your look direction.
• After each shot a 10-tick cooldown (~0.5 seconds) applies before you can shoot again — the item will show the standard cooldown animation.
• Bullets travel in a straight line with very slight gravity.
• A bullet despawns on impact with a block or entity — it does not bounce or pass through.
• Bullets that miss everything despawn automatically after a short time in the air.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Damage: Each bullet deals 8 damage (4 hearts) to any entity it hits directly.
• Speed: Bullets are fired at high velocity and are visible as they travel.
• No ammo required: The Iron Shooter fires indefinitely with no consumable ammunition.
• Cooldown: A 10-tick cooldown is enforced between shots; rapid clicking will not bypass it.
• Block impact: Bullets disappear the moment they strike a solid block.
• Self-hit protection: A new bullet cannot harm you for the first few ticks after firing.

Progression And Strategy

• The Iron Shooter slots into the Combat creative tab alongside swords and other weapons, making it immediately accessible for combat-focused builds.
• At 8 damage per shot and a fire rate of roughly 2 shots per second, it delivers strong burst damage against single targets at range.
• Because bullets despawn on block contact, use it in open areas or aim carefully through gaps — it cannot shoot through walls.
• Pair it with mobility or evasion to take advantage of its range while staying out of melee reach of enemies.
