Quickstart

1. Craft the Iron Nugget Repeater at a crafting table (recipe below).
2. Fill your inventory with iron nuggets — each shot consumes one.
3. Hold the repeater in your hand and hold right-click to open fire.
4. Aim at a target and keep holding to unleash a rapid stream of projectiles.

Overview

The Iron Nugget Repeater is a rapid-fire ranged weapon that flings iron nugget projectiles at high velocity. At up to 10 shots per second, it can shred through enemies quickly — but every shot costs one iron nugget from your inventory, so ammo management is key.

What It Adds

How To Use

• Hold right-click to continuously fire. Releasing right-click stops firing immediately.
• Each shot launches a visible iron nugget projectile that travels in a near-flat arc (very slight gravity).
• The weapon plays a distinct firing sound with each shot.
• Firing continues as long as you hold right-click and have iron nuggets in your inventory.
• When you run out of iron nuggets, the weapon stops firing automatically.
• In Creative mode, ammo is never consumed and you can fire indefinitely.

Abilities And Mechanics

Projectiles disappear on contact with any entity or block. The damage is attributed to the player who fired, so kills count toward your stats and loot tables respond normally.

Crafting And Obtaining

The recipe is unlocked automatically when you join a world — no advancement prerequisites required. Craft it at any crafting table:

Iron nuggets can be obtained by smelting iron tools/armor in a furnace, crafting from iron ingots (1 ingot → 9 nuggets), or looting naturally generated structures.

Progression And Strategy

• Early stocking up: Before venturing out, convert a stack of iron ingots into nuggets (9 nuggets each) to stockpile roughly 576 shots per ingot stack.
• Burst damage: At 8 damage per shot and up to 10 shots per second, the repeater can deal up to 80 damage per second — enough to eliminate most mobs in under a second if shots connect.
• Durability: The 512-shot durability is separate from ammo; keep an eye on both the item's durability bar and your nugget supply.
• Crowd control: The high fire rate is excellent against groups of mobs. Lead targets slightly since projectiles have a small travel time.
• Resource loop: Looting iron from dungeons, mineshafts, or mob drops keeps your ammo supply sustainable without heavy mining investment.
