Iron Fist Mech

Quickstart

1. Craft the Iron Fist Mech item using the recipe below.
2. Hold the item and right-click (use) on any block surface to deploy your mech into the world.
3. Stand back and let it fight — it targets nearby hostiles automatically, punching and kicking enemies while also firing ranged blasts.
4. Each Iron Fist Mech item is consumed when deployed, so craft extras if you plan to field more than one.

Overview

The Iron Fist Mech is a deployable combat companion. It looks and moves like an iron golem, but it's built for the fight — armed with crushing melee attacks that knock enemies away, plus a built-in ranged blaster for targets too far to punch.

What It Adds

• Iron Fist Mech (item) – a deployable item that spawns your mech when used on a block.
• Iron Fist Mech (entity) – a large, armored golem-like ally that automatically attacks hostile mobs.

How To Use

• Right-click a block while holding the Iron Fist Mech item to place it just above that surface. The item is consumed on use.
• Once deployed, the mech acts on its own — no taming or commands needed. It behaves like a friendly golem and will seek out and attack nearby threats.
• The mech is persistent, so it won't disappear over time and will stick around to defend the area where you place it.

Craft the Iron Fist Mech item using iron blocks, a piston, an iron ingot, and an iron pickaxe:

Abilities And Mechanics

• Melee smash: When the mech connects with a melee hit, it shoves the target backward and upward, knocking enemies off balance and away from itself.
• Blaster attack: If a target is too far to punch (but within range), the mech automatically fires a ranged projectile blast at it, dealing damage before the target even gets close.
• Auto-targeting: The mech constantly looks for hostile targets nearby and switches between melee and ranged attacks depending on distance.
• Durable and upgradeable: The mech item itself can be enchanted for durability, mining, sharpness/weapon effects, and vanishing curses, much like a tool or weapon.

Progression And Strategy

Deploy multiple Iron Fist Mechs to guard bases, mob farms, or contested areas — their mix of knockback melee and ranged blasting makes them effective at both close-range crowd control and softening up distant threats before they arrive. Since each mech is placed from a consumable item, keep a stock crafted and ready so you can quickly reinforce a location under attack.
