The Godlight Sword is a single, extremely powerful melee weapon that turns its wielder into an unstoppable force. It carries a permanent enchantment-like glow, hits harder than anything else in the game, and continuously blesses whoever holds it with combat-enhancing effects.
The Godlight Sword is created using a Smithing Table, following the same upgrade process as netherite gear:

While the Godlight Sword is in your main hand or off hand, you continuously receive:
These effects refresh automatically every second while the sword is carried, so they stay active continuously in combat and fade shortly after you put the sword away.
The sword itself deals an extraordinary 500,000 attack damage, enough to eliminate any vanilla mob or player instantly, though its attack speed is very slow.
