Glowshade Axe

Quickstart

1. Craft the Glowshade Axe using a smithing table with a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template, a Diamond Axe, and a Nether Star:

1. Equip it in your main hand (or off-hand) — it will start emitting a permanent glowing outline around you.
2. Right-click or chop into any log or wood block to see it fall almost instantly.
3. Take a swing at a mob or another player to feel its enormous attack power.

Overview

The Glowshade Axe is a single, extraordinarily powerful axe that combines nearly unstoppable combat damage with lightning-fast wood harvesting, all wrapped in an enchanted golden shimmer. It behaves like a normal axe in your inventory and hotbar, but its stats go far beyond anything found naturally in the game.

What It Adds

• Glowshade Axe — a netherite-tier axe item found in the Tools creative inventory tab.
• A smithing recipe to create it from common upgrade materials.
• A permanent visual enchantment glint on the item itself.

How To Use

• Hold the Glowshade Axe in either hand to activate its passive effects — no activation key needed.
• Use it like any axe: left-click to attack, or hold it and mine into logs/wood.
• It can also be used as a weapon; its attack power is enormous compared to any vanilla tool.
• The axe has durability (it can break after extensive use), so keep an eye on its damage bar.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Glowshade Axe is created via smithing table upgrade, similar to upgrading gear to netherite:

You will need:

• 1 Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template
• 1 Diamond Axe
• 1 Nether Star

Once crafted, the recipe is automatically known/unlocked for all players in the world, so you don't need to discover it manually — it's simply available to craft at a smithing table.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Instant tree-felling: Mining speed against log and wood blocks is massively boosted, letting you chop through entire trees almost instantly.
• Devastating attack power: Deals dramatically more damage than any vanilla weapon, making it capable of felling most enemies (and players) in a single hit.
• Slow swing speed: Its attack speed is much slower than normal axes, so time your swings carefully.
• Permanent glow: While holding the axe in either hand, you continuously receive the Glowing status effect, outlining your character for yourself and other players.
• Enchanted appearance: The axe always displays a shimmering enchantment glint, even without actual enchantments.
• Only one Glowshade Axe can occupy a single inventory slot (it does not stack).

Progression And Strategy

Because it requires a Nether Star, the Glowshade Axe is intended as a late-game or creative-style reward rather than an early-game tool. Use it to clear large forests in seconds or to dominate combat encounters. Its permanent glow makes stealth impossible while it's equipped, so consider swapping to another axe for logging trips where you don't want to be seen, and keep it in reserve for moments when raw power matters more than subtlety.
