Glitchrift Enderman

Quickstart

• In Creative Mode, search for the Glitchrift Enderman Spawn Egg and use it to spawn the mob. You can also summon it with /summon com_glitchrift_enderman_qbudhvos:myenderman.
• Keep your distance and watch its movements: it can vanish and reappear, freeze when you look directly at it, and attack with snowballs or melee strikes.
• Defeat one to get a Rift Maker. Hold it and press Use while facing a clear direction to teleport about 8 blocks forward. Each use wears it down; it breaks after 10 uses.

Overview

Glitchrift Enderman adds a teleporting Enderman variant and the Rift Maker, a short-range teleport tool. The mob is most often found in dim areas and may relocate in bursts of portal particles.

What It Adds

• Glitchrift Enderman: A hostile mob with 40 health. It can teleport, attack at range with snowballs, and strike nearby players.
• Rift Maker: A 10-use item that teleports its holder forward.

How To Use

Find the Enderman in low-light surface or underground areas. It can also spawn in the Nether, warped forests, and the End. Its Spawn Egg is available in Creative Mode.

To use the Rift Maker, hold it in your main hand, face the direction you want to travel, and press Use. It moves you forward while keeping you at roughly the same height, so aim toward an open path. You can also obtain it with /give @s com_glitchrift_enderman_qbudhvos:rift_maker.

Crafting And Obtaining

There is no crafting recipe for the Rift Maker. A Glitchrift Enderman drops one when it dies. Player kills can also yield 0–1 Ender Pearls and have an 8% chance to drop Obsidian; Looting improves the chance of extra drops. A player kill also grants 5 experience.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Looking directly at the mob without a Carved Pumpkin on your head freezes it while you keep looking. Look away and it can move again.
• It can teleport unpredictably, including making a burst of portal particles and relocating at intervals.
• When hostile, it can throw snowballs from up to 16 blocks away and attack in close combat. Its melee hit deals 7 damage.
• Water and lava hurt it, so nearby hazards can help wear it down.

Progression And Strategy

A Carved Pumpkin prevents your gaze from triggering its look response. Use ranged attacks or strike when it is not frozen, and watch for sudden relocations rather than assuming it is still where you last saw it. Save the Rift Maker’s limited uses for escapes or quick repositioning.
