Giant Sheep

Quickstart

1. Open your Creative inventory and search for Giant Sheep to find its spawn egg, or find one grazing naturally in overworld grassy biomes.
2. Use the spawn egg on the ground to summon a Giant Sheep.
3. Stay nearby and let it roam with you — it will automatically defend you by attacking nearby hostile mobs like zombies and skeletons.
4. There's nothing to tame, feed, or ride; just keep it close and it will act as your protector.

Overview

The Giant Sheep is a massive, docile-looking creature that wanders the overworld. Despite its calm, grazing appearance, it's a loyal guardian — automatically hunting down and fighting hostile mobs that get too close to you or wander into its territory. It's a passive companion in the sense that it never attacks players or peaceful animals, but it becomes a fierce combatant against monsters.

What It Adds

• Giant Sheep — a towering, oversized sheep-like creature that spawns naturally in overworld biomes.
• Giant Sheep Spawn Egg — found in the Spawn Eggs section of the Creative inventory, used to summon the creature anywhere.

How To Use

• Spawning naturally: Giant Sheep can appear on their own while exploring overworld biomes, grazing peacefully like normal livestock.
• Spawning manually: Use the Giant Sheep spawn egg on any block to place one instantly.
• Interacting: The Giant Sheep doesn't need to be fed, bred, or led. It wanders on its own and will follow its own path, occasionally looking around and moving to new areas.
• Combat behavior: If a hostile mob (zombies, skeletons, spiders, creepers, etc.) comes near, the Giant Sheep will actively target and melee attack it to protect the area and any nearby players.

Crafting And Obtaining

There are no crafting recipes for this mod. The Giant Sheep is obtained entirely through:

• Natural overworld spawning, or
• Using its spawn egg from the Creative inventory (Spawn Eggs tab).

Abilities And Mechanics

• High health: The Giant Sheep is tough, with far more health than a normal sheep, letting it survive extended fights.
• Strong attacks: It deals significant melee damage, capable of quickly dispatching common hostile mobs.
• Guardian AI: It actively seeks out and targets hostile mobs in the area rather than waiting to be attacked.
• Wandering behavior: When not fighting, it roams freely, looks around, and behaves like a large, calm grazing animal.
• Size: It's noticeably larger than a normal sheep, making it easy to spot from a distance.

Progression And Strategy

Keep a Giant Sheep nearby when exploring dangerous areas at night or in mob-dense regions — it will intercept and fight off threats before they reach you. Since it spawns naturally, you may stumble across one while exploring, but summoning one with a spawn egg guarantees a guardian on demand near your base, farm, or campsite. There's no taming or feeding required, making it a low-maintenance ally for casual and survival-style play alike.
