Fencers Dream

Quickstart

1. Craft the Fencers Dream rapier using the recipe below.
2. Equip it in your main hand (it cannot be used in the off hand).
3. Fight with it normally to build up combo momentum and trigger bonus effects.
4. Right-click (not sneaking) to enter Primary Stance for a temporary combat buff.
5. Sneak + right-click to activate an Acceleration burst of speed.
6. Hold sneak while wielding the rapier to enter Piercing Stance for armor-piercing hits.
7. Fight another player or mob down to low health nearby to trigger a Duel — win it for a strength reward.

Overview

Fencers Dream adds a single powerful weapon: an enchanted rapier built for fast, technical duelists. Rather than just dealing flat damage, the rapier rewards skilled, sustained combat with stacking bonuses, situational stances, and a risk/reward duel system that activates automatically when a fight gets intense.

What It Adds

• Fencers Dream Rapier — a rare, glinting one-handed sword with high damage, sizeable durability, and a spear-like thrusting attack animation.
• Momentum Combat System — landing hits builds up a flow state that unlocks healing and bonus damage.
• Stances and Abilities — situational activations for extra piercing damage or bursts of speed.
• Duel System — a spontaneous 1v1 showdown mechanic triggered when combat gets close and dangerous.

Crafting And Obtaining

The rapier is crafted at a crafting table using rare Nether materials:

It can be repaired using Nether Stars (restores a large portion of durability) or Blaze Rods (restores a smaller amount), both at an anvil.

Abilities And Mechanics

Momentum & Flow Landing consecutive hits with the rapier builds up a "flow" streak. Keeping the streak alive periodically restores health and has a chance to add bonus magical damage to your strikes.

Wither Chain Successive hits can also chain together to build stacking effects that punish enemies who stay in the fight too long.

Primary Stance (right-click) Activating this stance empowers your combat for about 15 seconds, after which it goes on a roughly 20-second cooldown before you can use it again.

Piercing Stance (hold sneak) Holding sneak while wielding the rapier engages an armor-piercing stance that adds bonus damage against armored foes for about 15 seconds, followed by a longer 30-second cooldown.

Acceleration (sneak + right-click) Unleashes a burst of speed lasting about 30 seconds, greatly boosting your movement, with a 40-second cooldown before it can be triggered again.

Duel System If you or a nearby combatant drops to around 5 hearts of health while fighting, a duel is triggered between you and your opponent within a short radius. The duel lasts up to 30 seconds:

• Win the duel and you gain a temporary Strength boost.
• Time out without a clear winner and you'll suffer a short burst of Poison instead.

Progression And Strategy

Fencers Dream rewards aggressive, continuous engagement rather than single big hits. Keep landing strikes to maintain your flow streak for sustain and bonus damage, use Piercing Stance against heavily armored enemies, and save Acceleration for chasing down or escaping opponents. Watch your health and your opponent's — dropping into duel range can turn a fight into a high-stakes showdown where victory grants a real combat advantage, but stalling it out leaves you poisoned. Manage your stance and acceleration cooldowns carefully, since none of them can be used back-to-back without a wait.
