Quickstart

1. Open a crafting table and craft Quantum Thread (shapeless: String + Redstone + Amethyst Shard → 2 thread).
2. Craft an Entanglement Anchor (shaped recipe below) and place it in the world.
3. Hold Quantum Thread and right-click the placed Anchor. You'll see the message: "The anchor twists the thread into a stabilized pearl." — a Stabilized Pearl is added to your inventory.
4. Consume the Stabilized Pearl (use it like food) to receive a speed and jump boost lasting 12 seconds.

Overview

Entanglement is a small survival-friendly mod centered on quantum manipulation. It introduces one new block and two new items that form a simple three-step crafting and consumption loop: craft thread and an anchor, interact to form a pearl, then eat the pearl for a travel boost. Everything can be obtained through normal survival play.

All mod items appear in the Entanglement creative tab.

What It Adds

Crafting And Obtaining

Quantum Thread

Crafted shapeless from String, Redstone, and an Amethyst Shard. Yields 2 thread per craft.

Entanglement Anchor

Requires Amethyst Shard, Redstone (×2), Ender Pearl, and Obsidian (×3). Place the finished block in the world to use it.

Mining: The Entanglement Anchor requires at least an iron pickaxe to break and drops itself when mined.

Stabilized Pearl

Not crafted at a crafting table — instead, hold Quantum Thread and right-click a placed Entanglement Anchor. The anchor converts the thread into a Stabilized Pearl directly in your inventory.

Abilities And Mechanics

Stabilized Pearl (consumable)

• Right-click to consume (treated like food).
• Grants a speed boost and jump boost for 12 seconds.
• After use you'll see the message: "Entangled momentum surrounds you."
• There is an 8-second cooldown before you can consume another pearl.

Entanglement Anchor

• A solid block with the hardness and sound of amethyst, but tougher (blast resistance 8.0).
• Right-clicking it while holding Quantum Thread consumes the thread and produces a Stabilized Pearl.
• Drops itself when mined with an iron-tier pickaxe or better; does not drop if destroyed by an explosion.

Progression And Strategy

• Quantum Thread is cheap — String, Redstone, and Amethyst Shard are all mid-early-game resources.
• The Anchor is the only significant gating ingredient, requiring an Ender Pearl and Obsidian, placing the mod's power comfortably in mid-game.
• Place the Anchor at a base or parkour course and keep a stock of thread on hand to quickly produce pearls before long journeys or challenging jumps.
• The 8-second cooldown means you cannot chain pearls back-to-back, so time your consumption for when you actually need the burst of speed and height.
