Description

This piglin brute is decked in Italian-style armor with dried wine stains around its mouth and clothing and a distinctive crest on its back. It remains docile and mostly stationary until provoked, fights back with melee attacks, and will never turn into a zombified piglin. You can leash it to fences and give it a name. Use my modpack Murder on The Vine for the best experience.

Enduring Fisher Brute

Quickstart

  1. Install the .mcaddon pack and enable it for your world.
  2. Find the Enduring Fisher Brute spawning naturally in the Nether Wastes or Crimson Forest, or use the Enduring Fisher Brute Spawn Egg from the Creative inventory to place one anywhere.
  3. Leave it alone — it stands peacefully until attacked.
  4. To keep one as a fixture, attach a lead to it and tie the lead to a fence post. Use a Name Tag to give it a permanent name and prevent despawning.

Overview

The Enduring Fisher Brute is a custom piglin brute variant with a striking Italian-inspired appearance: ornate armor, dried wine stains across its mouth and clothing, and a decorative crest rising from its back. Unlike a standard piglin brute, it will never transform into a zombified piglin under any circumstances. It spends most of its time idle and nearly stationary, but it becomes a dangerous melee fighter the moment it is provoked.

Abilities And Mechanics

Temperament

The Enduring Fisher Brute is docile by default. It will not attack players or other mobs unless it is directly attacked first. Once provoked, it locks onto its target and pursues it with persistent melee attacks dealing 7 damage per hit. After about 30 seconds without a new target, it calms down and returns to its idle state.

Anger Broadcast

When attacked, the Enduring Fisher Brute broadcasts its anger to nearby piglins, potentially rallying them to its defense. However, it does not share its specific attack target with those piglins automatically.

No Zombification

This mob never converts into a zombified piglin, even when exposed to the Overworld or End. It remains in its original form permanently.

Loot and Drops

The Enduring Fisher Brute drops a thematic selection of items on death. Looting enchantments on your weapon improve most drop quantities.

Leashing and Naming

  • Attach a lead to the Enduring Fisher Brute and tie it to a fence to keep it in place as a decorative guard.
  • Apply a Name Tag (via an anvil) to give it a custom name. Named Enduring Fisher Brutes will not despawn.

Progression And Strategy

  • The Enduring Fisher Brute is a relatively tough mob with 50 health points (25 hearts), so come prepared before picking a fight.
  • Its 7-damage melee attack is serious — wear armor and consider attacking from range or with knockback effects.
  • A Looting III sword significantly increases your chances of getting gold ingots, armor pieces, and extra nuggets.
  • Because it never zombifies, you can safely bring one to the Overworld via a lead without worrying about it transforming.
  • Pair a named, leashed Enduring Fisher Brute with fence posts near your Nether base for a permanent, thematic guard display that adds atmosphere without being a constant threat — unless your guests throw the first punch.
