Quickstart

Craft an Emberbolt Netherblade at a smithing table using a Netherite Sword, a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template, and a Fire Charge:

Equip it and right-click to launch a fireball in the direction you’re looking. Try a melee hit too: struck enemies catch fire.

Overview

The Emberbolt Netherblade is a flame-forged sword with a ranged fireball attack. It can be crafted for survival play or found in the Combat tab in Creative mode.

What It Adds

• Emberbolt Netherblade: A non-stackable Netherite sword that can launch fireballs and ignite enemies on melee hit.

How To Use

• Fireball: Aim and right-click while holding the sword. The shot has a short cooldown before you can fire again.
• Melee: Attack an enemy with the sword to set it on fire for four seconds.

Crafting And Obtaining

Use a smithing table to combine the upgrade template, Netherite Sword, and Fire Charge:

Abilities And Mechanics

The sword launches a small fireball toward your aim and has a 20-tick (one-second) cooldown between shots. Melee hits ignite the target for four seconds.

Progression And Strategy

Use fireballs to attack from a distance, then switch to melee when enemies get close. The brief firing cooldown makes it useful to mix ranged shots with sword attacks.
