Craft the Elemental Gemblade at a crafting table, then equip it and hit a mob to trigger its effects.

Overview

The Elemental Gemblade is a sword that combines diamond, emerald, redstone, and quartz. Each successful hit on an entity inflicts several effects alongside the weapon’s damage.

What It Adds

• One epic, sword-type weapon.
• Attack damage: 8.
• Durability: 1,561.
• Stack size: 1.

How To Use

Hold the Gemblade and attack an entity as you would with a normal sword. Its special effects apply when you hit an entity; they do not require a separate button or activation.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft one Gemblade at a crafting table using the recipe above. The recipe unlocks when you have a diamond.

Abilities And Mechanics

On a successful hit, the target:

• Catches fire for 4 seconds.
• Gains Levitation I for 2 seconds.
• Gains Slowness I and Mining Fatigue I for 5 seconds each.

Progression And Strategy

The Gemblade works as a combat weapon and a way to briefly disrupt enemies. Levitation can lift a target out of position, while Slowness and Mining Fatigue hinder it after the hit.
