Quickstart

Open the Creative inventory’s Ingredients tab to find the eight dyes, or craft them from pairs of vanilla dyes. For example, red dye plus pink dye makes two Rose Dyes: .

Try using Rose Dye in a shapeless crafting recipe with white wool to make pink wool: . The recipes below cover the other dyes and colorable blocks.

Overview

Dye Discovery adds eight craftable dyes. Each dye corresponds to a vanilla color for the mod’s block recipes: Chartreuse and Mint both produce lime-colored blocks, while the other dyes correspond to orange, pink, cyan, light blue, blue, or purple.

Crafting and Using the Dyes

Each shapeless dye recipe makes two dyes.

The recipes use the new dyes with white wool, beds, and carpets, or with building materials to craft the corresponding vanilla-colored blocks. Recipe shortcodes below show the available recipes; hover over or tap one to view its ingredients.

How to Use

The bed, carpet, and wool recipes use white versions of those items. Concrete powder recipes use eight white concrete powder; glass and glass pane recipes use eight of the corresponding uncolored material. Terracotta recipes combine terracotta with the dye.

The results are standard vanilla-colored blocks: Rose makes pink, Amber orange, Chartreuse and Mint lime, Teal cyan, Sky light blue, Indigo blue, and Lavender purple. Glazed terracotta is made by smelting terracotta in the matching vanilla color.
