Quickstart

1. Craft the Draconic Fury sword using the recipe below and place it in your main hand or off-hand.
2. You immediately gain permanent Fire Resistance — no potions needed.
3. Try your first ability: simply Right-Click to breathe a cone of fire at nearby enemies.
4. Check your screen for cooldown messages if an ability isn't ready yet.

Overview

Draconic Fury is a dragon-themed sword that transforms your combat style with a persistent fire aura, automatic fire immunity, bonus damage against specific mob types, and three powerful right-click abilities. Whether you're storming a Nether fortress or fighting the Ender Dragon, this sword is built for the job.

What It Adds

A single, unique item: the Draconic Fury sword. It appears in the Combat creative tab and cannot stack. While held in either hand, it:

• Surrounds you with a constant visual aura of flame embers and smoke.
• Automatically applies permanent Fire Resistance — no potions or enchantments required.
• Deals double damage to a specific list of mobs (see below).

Abilities And Mechanics

Passive: Fire Aura & Fire Resistance

Simply holding the Draconic Fury in your main hand or off-hand is enough to trigger both effects. The ember-and-smoke particle aura is purely visual, but Fire Resistance is fully functional and permanent as long as the sword is in either hand.

Passive: Double Damage

Attacks against the following mob types deal double damage:

Active Abilities

All three abilities are triggered by Right-Clicking while holding the sword. Each has its own independent cooldown. If an ability is on cooldown, a message appears on your screen.

Progression And Strategy

• Early use: Dragon's Breath is your bread-and-butter ability with the shortest cooldown. Use it to clear groups of mobs quickly or to start fights from range.
• Mobility: Wing Flutter doubles as both an escape tool and a crowd-control move. The forward launch can help you reposition in tight spaces or cross gaps.
• Big fights: Save Meteor Core Slam for boss encounters or large mob clusters. Its 50-second cooldown is long, but the explosive fireball barrage and ground fire ring make it devastating. It's especially effective against the Ender Dragon combined with the passive double-damage bonus.
• Nether runs: The automatic Fire Resistance means lava and fire are no longer threats. Pair this with the double damage against Nether mobs for near-total dominance in the Nether.
• Off-hand use: Fire Resistance activates even in the off-hand, so you can equip a shield or totem in your main hand while still staying fireproof.
