Warning: The blast, shockwave, and radiation cover an enormous area. Test it far from builds, villages, and anything you want to keep.
Doomsday Charge is a placeable superweapon for creating a colossal radioactive disaster. A detonation produces:
The charge is consumed when it detonates.
The Doomsday Charge is a full-block explosive. It cannot be safely mined like an ordinary block, and it does not wait for a redstone signal after placement.
If a player breaks the charge before it detonates, the charge drops as an item and can be placed again.
Fallout Glass is a glowing aftermath block that emits light. It can be mined with a pickaxe and is relatively resistant to explosions.
Infected Biomass is a strange fallout block scattered around the blast area. It emits a small amount of light and is best mined with a shovel.
The Infected Fallout Zombie is an undead hostile mob with 38 health and a melee attack that deals 7 damage. It can appear in adult and baby forms, and some babies can become jockeys.
A placed charge starts its fuse automatically. You can also:
The fuse is very short and varies randomly, so do not stand nearby waiting for a warning.
When the fuse ends, the charge disappears and the detonation begins. The central explosion is followed by secondary bursts and three expanding outer waves. The blast:
Craft the Doomsday Charge at a crafting table using iron blocks, TNT, glowstone, and a redstone block.
Fallout Glass and Infected Biomass do not have a listed crafting recipe. They are scattered throughout the aftermath of a detonation and can be collected afterward.
The Infected Fallout Zombie can be obtained from the Creative inventory with its spawn egg. You can also summon one with:
/summon com_doomsday_charge_kvwb2abr:infected_zombie ~ ~ ~
The detonation launches entities away from ground zero before the main terrain destruction finishes. The shockwave reaches much farther than the most visible central blast, so flying, hiding underground, or standing far from the charge is important.
After the explosion, the area becomes a fallout zone for about 3 minutes. The storm reaches roughly 820 blocks from the detonation point and periodically applies:
The storm also produces smoke and ash, summons lightning, and keeps thunderous weather active. An on-screen warning signals when radiation is active and when the fallout is fading.
Evacuate the entire blast area rather than waiting nearby for the storm to end.
Infected Fallout Zombies:
Some zombies are babies, which move faster and give more experience when killed by a player. A small number of baby zombies can act as jockeys and seek an Infected Fallout Zombie to ride.
An Infected Fallout Zombie can drop:
Equipped gear can also be dropped when applicable.
