Diamond Fairy

Quickstart

1. Open your Creative inventory and search for Diamond Fairy to find its spawn egg, or find one flying naturally in the Overworld.
2. Use the spawn egg on any block to summon a Diamond Fairy.
3. Attack and defeat it to collect the diamonds it drops.
4. Repeat to farm a steady supply of diamonds without ever entering a cave.

Overview

The Diamond Fairy is a small, sparkly pink flying creature that roams the Overworld. It looks and moves like the vanilla Allay, drifting gently through the air, but it carries something far more valuable: when defeated, it leaves behind a handful of diamonds. It's a passive, non-threatening addition to the world that gives players an alternate way to gather diamonds.

What It Adds

• Diamond Fairy – a flying mob that spawns naturally in Overworld biomes.
• Diamond Fairy Spawn Egg – found in the Spawn Eggs tab of the Creative inventory, used to summon the fairy on demand.

How To Use

• Finding one: Diamond Fairies spawn on their own in Overworld biomes, fluttering through the air like an Allay. Keep an eye out near open skies and forests.
• Spawning one yourself: Grab the Diamond Fairy spawn egg from the Creative menu and right-click (or use) it on any surface to spawn the fairy instantly.
• Defeating it: The fairy has no attacks of its own, so any weapon will do. It has a decent amount of health, so be prepared for a short fight.
• Collecting the reward: Once defeated, it drops diamonds directly on the ground — pick them up like any other item drop.

Crafting And Obtaining

There are no crafting recipes for this mod. Diamond Fairies are obtained purely through natural world spawning or by using the spawn egg in Creative mode.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Flight: The Diamond Fairy flies gracefully through the air rather than walking, similar to an Allay.
• Passive behavior: It does not attack players and poses no threat.
• Diamond drop: Upon death, it always drops diamonds — a randomized small stack — making it a reliable, renewable source of diamonds if you can find or spawn multiple fairies.
• Natural spawning: It spawns in Overworld creature groups alongside other passive wildlife, so you may stumble upon one during normal exploration.

Progression And Strategy

Since Diamond Fairies spawn naturally and drop diamonds when killed, they offer a surface-level alternative to mining for diamonds underground. Early-game players can look out for them while exploring to get a head start on diamond gear and enchanting table access. In Creative mode, the spawn egg lets you summon as many as you like to test builds, showcase the mob, or simply gather diamonds instantly.
