Cybernetic Edge

Quickstart

1. Craft the Cybernetic Edge using the recipe below and place it in your main hand.
2. You immediately gain Haste II and become immune to the Weakness effect.
3. Try your first ability: right-click to fire a Plasma Arc through enemies in front of you.
4. When surrounded, Shift + Right-click to dash through mobs and leave them withering.
5. For a dramatic finish, sprint and right-click to call down an Orbital Strike.

Overview

The Cybernetic Edge is a futuristic high-tech sword cracking with electric energy. Beyond its raw melee power, it passively boosts your mining and attack speed and protects you from debuffs, while also providing three unique active combat abilities — each on its own independent cooldown — for close-range bursts, repositioning dashes, and massive area devastation.

What It Adds

A single powerful sword item found in the Combat creative tab. It counts as a sword for all relevant game mechanics.

How To Use

Passive Effects (Main Hand Only)

Keep the Cybernetic Edge in your main hand to continuously receive:

• Haste II — faster attack and mining speed at all times.
• Weakness Immunity — any Weakness effect applied to you is instantly removed.

Switching to another hand or hotbar slot drops these bonuses immediately.

Active Abilities

All three abilities are triggered while the sword is in your main hand. Each has its own independent cooldown, so using one does not block the others.

Crafting And Obtaining

The recipe is unlocked automatically when you join a world. Craft it at a standard crafting table:

Ingredients at a glance: Diamonds, an End Crystal, Glowstone Dust, a Blaze Rod, and a Stick.

Abilities And Mechanics

Plasma Arc pierces multiple targets in a line, making it most effective against groups of mobs arranged in a corridor or tight passage. Slowed enemies are easier to finish with follow-up melee strikes.

Overclock Dash is primarily a mobility and escape tool, but its Wither application makes it dangerous to pass through a crowd. It travels in the direction you are facing, so aim carefully before activating.

Orbital Strike has a short delay between activation and detonation. Place the strike marker strategically on clustered enemies or a boss and retreat — the sky beam will arrive shortly after. The knockback launches nearby mobs into the air, giving you extra time to re-engage.

Progression And Strategy

• Craft the Cybernetic Edge as soon as you have post-End materials (End Crystal, Blaze Rod, Diamonds). It is an end-game weapon that pays off immediately in any difficult encounter.
• The 45-second Orbital Strike cooldown means it should be saved for high-value targets or dangerous mob clusters. Open every tough fight with it so the cooldown is ticking while you handle the rest with Plasma Arc and melee.
• Overclock Dash doubles as a panic button — if you are overwhelmed, dash through the crowd to apply Wither and reposition behind them.
• Haste II is permanently active while you hold the sword, so consider keeping it in hand while mining in dangerous underground areas so you can both dig efficiently and fight instantly.
• Rotate Plasma Arc (6 s cooldown) freely throughout combat; it regenerates quickly enough to use on almost every new enemy group.
