Description
The visitor cannot be created with /summon; use its spawn egg or wait for natural spawning.
Crystal Aquarium Visitor adds a mysterious villager-like visitor that seeks out crystal aquariums. It is a temporary encounter rather than a permanent companion: visitors travel to an aquarium, leave a diamond, and disappear.
Visitors can naturally appear in village areas during daylight. Natural spawning requires:
They appear alone rather than in herds. Natural spawning is uncommon, so using the spawn egg is the fastest way to test the encounter.
Use the Crystal Aquarium Visitor Spawn Egg on a suitable surface. Spawn the visitor within 32 blocks of a crystal aquarium and no more than about 8 blocks above or below it so that it can find its destination.
Use the normal Interact control while looking at the visitor. It behaves like a villager and may have a randomly selected adult profession, allowing villager-style interaction. Interaction is not required to receive the diamond—the important interaction is placing an aquarium for the visitor to reach.
There are no crafting recipes for the visitor or its spawn egg.
After spawning, the visitor searches for the nearest crystal aquarium within its search area and walks toward it. It uses normal pathfinding, so walls, cliffs, water, and other obstacles can delay or prevent its arrival.
When the visitor reaches a crystal aquarium, it produces exactly one diamond as a dropped item. Collect the diamond from the ground near the visitor’s destination.
A visitor is temporary:
Visitors use villager-style movement and daily behavior. Adult visitors can have different professions and appearances, while occasional babies may also appear. They can wander, gather, seek shelter, and react to danger like villagers.
