Quickstart

1. Gather TNT × 4, a Nether Star, a Redstone Block, and a Blaze Rod.
2. Craft the Crimson Blast Tool at a Crafting Table:

1. Hold the tool and press Use (right-click / the use button).
2. Stand clear — a 250×250 block area centred on you is instantly erased. ⚠️ Do not use this near your base.

Overview

The Crimson Blast Tool is a single epic-rarity hand weapon with one dramatic purpose: when used, it detonates and obliterates every block in a massive 250×250 column around the player. Lightning strikes mark the perimeter and a custom sound effect announces the detonation. It is one of the most destructive items possible in a Bedrock world — treat it accordingly.

Abilities And Mechanics

Crimson Blast

Pressing Use while holding the tool triggers the Crimson Blast:

• Area of effect: 250 blocks wide (X) × 250 blocks deep (Z) × up to 60 blocks tall (30 above and 30 below the player's feet), all replaced with air.
• Visual effects: Eight lightning bolts strike the perimeter corners and cardinal edges simultaneously, followed by a second volley of five lightning bolts at the centre when the blast finishes.
• Audio: A loud, low-pitched blast sound plays at full volume at the player's location.
• Chat messages: The game notifies you when the blast starts and when it completes.
• Cooldown: After firing, the tool enters a 5-second cooldown before it can be used again.
• The blast is processed in batches across multiple ticks to reduce lag, so the full clearing effect may take a brief moment to complete.

Progression And Strategy

• Obtain the Nether Star first — this requires defeating the Wither, making the Crimson Blast Tool a late-game item.
• Use it for clearing terrain, mining out large voids, or demolishing unwanted structures — not near anything you want to keep.
• Back up your world before using this item in survival. The 250×250 footprint is enormous and irreversible without Creative Mode or a backup.
• Because the item has only 250 durability and loses 1 per use, you get 250 blasts before the tool breaks. Repair with Netherite Ingots or Blaze Rods at an Anvil to extend its life.
• The tool can be enchanted in the sword slot — consider Unbreaking to stretch its durability further.
