Creeper Cup Stadium
Quickstart
- Open your Creative inventory and find the Structure Wand in the Tools tab.
- Hold the wand and use it (right-click) to launch a glowing projectile in the direction you're facing.
- Wherever the projectile lands — on a block or an entity — the Creeper Cup Stadium structure will begin materializing at that spot.
- Stand back and watch: the stadium assembles itself piece by piece with sparkling particle effects and sound.
- Once complete, walk in and explore the field, stands, and Creeper-themed architecture.
If you want more control over placement, size, or which structure spawns, use the client-side /structure command (see below).
Overview
Creeper Cup Stadium adds a fully-built soccer stadium structure themed around the iconic Creeper look. It includes a large open playing field, spectator stands, and sports-venue architecture rendered in a distinctive green-and-black Creeper aesthetic. Rather than being a static pre-placed building, the stadium is summoned into the world on demand using a magic wand or a chat command, complete with an animated "building itself" effect.
What It Adds
- Structure Wand — a throwable item that summons the stadium structure where its projectile lands.
- Structure Wand Projectile — the glowing orb fired by the wand, trailing purple particles as it flies.
- Colored Voxel Block — a special block used internally to reconstruct the stadium's fine color detail; you'll see it making up parts of the structure as it's built.
- Creeper Cup Stadium structure — the large soccer stadium itself: an open field surrounded by tiered seating and Creeper-styled decorative elements.
/structure command — an in-game command for directly building, listing, and resizing available structures.
How To Use
The Structure Wand
- Obtain it from the Creative inventory (Tools tab).
- Right-click (use) to throw the projectile in the direction you're aiming.
- The projectile plays a throw sound, arcs through the air trailing particles, and triggers construction on impact with terrain or an entity.
- There's a short cooldown after each throw before you can fire again.
- The wand always builds the default (first-loaded) stadium structure, automatically scaled to a comfortable size for the area it lands in.
Building And Watching Construction
When the structure begins building, it doesn't simply pop into existence — it animates block-by-block, complete with spiraling particle trails, ambient sparkles, and a final particle burst when finished. This takes a few seconds to complete, so give it a moment before exploring.
The /structure Command
This client-side command gives you finer control than the wand:
/structure list — shows all available structures and their dimensions/block counts.
/structure build <name> — builds the named structure at full size, centered on your current position and facing.
/structure build <name> <size> — builds the structure scaled so its largest dimension is approximately <size> blocks (from 16 up to 256).
Use tab-completion after /structure build to see the available structure name (the stadium is registered as creeper_cup_stadium).
Crafting And Obtaining
There is no crafting recipe for the Structure Wand — it is a Creative-mode tool, obtained directly from the Creative inventory's Tools category. No survival crafting is required or supported for any item in this mod.
Abilities And Mechanics
- Projectile-based summoning: throwing the wand launches a tracked projectile that detects the first block or entity it hits and uses that location as the build origin.
- Automatic scaling: structures spawned by the wand are automatically scaled down to a manageable size (around 128 blocks on the longest side) so they fit nicely into the landscape; the
/structure command lets you choose your own target size instead.
- Directional facing: the stadium orients itself based on the direction you were facing (for the wand) or your character's facing (for the command), so you can control which way the field opens.
- Animated construction: once the destination is set, the stadium's blocks fly in from around the origin point in a spiraling motion, accompanied by ambient particles and sound, before settling into their final positions with a particle burst.
- Color detail via voxels: some of the stadium's fine visual detail is achieved with a special colored block, which renders extra tint on top of its base texture — this is what allows the Creeper-themed color patterns on the structure.
Progression And Strategy
There's no combat or survival progression tied to this mod — it's a creative-building and world-decoration tool. The suggested approach:
- Find a flat, open area with plenty of space — the stadium is large, so give it room to spawn without overlapping terrain.
- Use
/structure list first to confirm the stadium is loaded and check its footprint size.
- Either throw the wand for a quick, automatically-scaled placement, or use
/structure build creeper_cup_stadium <size> for precise control over the final dimensions and orientation.
- Watch the construction animation complete fully before entering, since blocks are still settling into place during the build sequence.
- Once built, use the stadium as a spectator venue, minigame arena, or backdrop for Creeper Cup-themed events in your world.
