Description
Note: The Cotton Candy and Ice biomes exist as game resources and the mobs are set to spawn on the themed terrain blocks, but automatic natural Overworld generation is not yet active. Access all content through the creative inventory, spawn eggs, or an external world-editing tool.
Cotton Candy Frostlands transforms Minecraft into a pastel, frozen confectionery world. It introduces two themed biomes — the soft, sugary Cotton Candy biome and the crisp, wintry Ice biome — filled with around 20 decorative and functional blocks, over 50 new items, and three unique mobs. Whether you're building a candy kingdom or a glacial fortress, this mod provides all the themed pieces you need.
| Biome | Theme |
|---|---|
| Cotton Candy | Pastel, sugary, soft terrain |
| Ice | Frosty, crystalline, glacial terrain |
| Mob | Behavior | Based On |
|---|---|---|
| Cotton Candy Sheep | Passive | Sheep |
| Caramel Cow | Passive | Cow |
| Ice Man | Hostile | Zombie |
All three mobs have full render assets and spawn eggs available.
Use each mob's spawn egg to place them in your world:
Mobs will also spawn naturally on their matching terrain blocks (Cotton Candy Grass, Cotton Candy Dirt, Ice Cream Snow, Packed Frost) once those surfaces exist in your world.
Place Cotton Candy and Ice biome blocks anywhere to create your own themed areas. Because the mobs are configured to spawn on those specific surface blocks, placing them in a survival world will eventually attract the matching creatures.
Candy and frost-themed tools function like their vanilla counterparts. Wands and charms provide themed utility — check each item's tooltip in-game for specific effects and uses.
The Biome Compass points you toward the Cotton Candy or Ice biome. Hold it and observe the needle to navigate — useful when using world-editing tools to place the biomes at a known location.
No crafting recipes are currently required — all blocks, items, and spawn eggs are available directly from the creative inventory. In survival, use spawn eggs obtained via commands (/give) or loot, and gather blocks through world-editing tools until natural worldgen support is activated.
/give or a world editor to seed their world with the themed terrain blocks, then let the mobs spawn naturally on those surfaces over time. This Java mod can be used on Windows and Mac PCs with the CreativeMode Launcher or any Minecraft launcher of your choice.
