Corrosion Wraith

Quickstart

  1. In Creative mode, open the Spawn Eggs tab and take the SCP-106 Spawn Egg.
  2. Use the egg on the ground to summon SCP-106. For commands, use:
    /summon corrosion-wraith-rb6rnxgb:corrosion_wraith_rb6rnxgb

  3. Keep your distance and watch for its black ink particles. SCP-106 can phase toward targets through obstacles.
  4. If you attack SCP-106 from 1–2 blocks away, it may drag you into its pocket maze. Explore the maze and use the SCP-106 Exit Shard to return to the Overworld.
  5. To give yourself an Exit Shard for testing, use:
    /give @s corrosion-wraith-rb6rnxgb:pocket_exit_shard

Overview

Corrosion Wraith adds SCP-106, a durable hostile monster that combines powerful melee attacks, a corrosive aura, teleporting movement, and a deadly pocket dimension.

SCP-106 is a grimy, decayed humanoid surrounded by dripping black ink and smoke. It is not harmed by sunlight or fire, making it dangerous both underground and in open areas.

What It Adds

ContentDescription
SCP-106A hostile, fire-immune mob with 80 health, 8 attack damage, 6 armor, and a 40-block follow range
SCP-106 Spawn EggA Creative-mode spawn egg for placing SCP-106
SCP-106 Exit ShardA single-use escape item supplied when SCP-106 drags a player into its pocket dimension

The spawn egg is available in the Spawn Eggs Creative tab. The Exit Shard is available in the Tools & Utilities Creative tab.

How To Use

Summoning SCP-106

Use the SCP-106 Spawn Egg on a suitable block. You can also summon it with:

/summon corrosion-wraith-rb6rnxgb:corrosion_wraith_rb6rnxgb

Once active, SCP-106 behaves as a hostile zombie-like mob and pursues nearby targets.

Fighting SCP-106

SCP-106 is especially dangerous at close range:

  • A successful melee hit deals 8 damage before armor reduction.
  • Melee hits apply Wither II for 5 seconds.
  • Melee hits apply Slowness II for 3 seconds.
  • Its corrosive aura reaches 3 blocks and periodically applies Wither I and Slowness I.
  • It has 80 health and 6 armor, so ordinary close-quarters combat is risky.
  • It is immune to fire and does not avoid sunlight.

Use ranged attacks or maintain a wide gap whenever possible. Be prepared for it to phase closer without following the normal path around walls.

Abilities And Mechanics

Phasing

When SCP-106 has a living target between more than 6 and less than 30 blocks away, it can phase toward that target approximately every 5 seconds.

It reappears near the target, searching upward for a position with enough open space. Smoke and black ink particles mark the movement, but walls and other obstacles do not reliably protect you from it.

Corrosive Aura

Every 2 seconds, SCP-106 releases an acidic aura around itself:

  • Range: 3 blocks
  • Wither I: 3 seconds
  • Slowness I: 2 seconds

The aura affects nearby living entities other than SCP-106. Avoid standing beside it, even if it is not currently attacking.

Pocket-Dimension Drag

SCP-106 can pull a player into its pocket dimension when all of the following conditions are met:

  • The player successfully damages SCP-106.
  • The player is approximately 1–2 blocks away.
  • SCP-106 survives the attack.
  • SCP-106 is not on cooldown.
  • The player is alive and not in Spectator mode.
  • The attack occurs outside the pocket dimension.

After the transfer, SCP-106 cannot immediately trigger the ability again; its cooldown is approximately 30 seconds.

The Rotting Pocket Maze

The pocket dimension generates a large, dark maze around the player. Its corridors use decayed materials such as mud bricks, blackstone, mangrove wood, mossy cobblestone, sculk, and deepslate.

A central chamber is built into the maze, marked by:

  • A crying obsidian floor block
  • A mud-brick center
  • A soul lantern overhead

The transfer initially disorients the player with:

  • Darkness I for 10 seconds
  • Blindness I for 5 seconds
  • Wither II for 8 seconds
  • Slowness III for 5 seconds

SCP-106 follows you into the maze and appears nearby, so stopping to fight may be more dangerous than finding an escape route.

Escaping

When SCP-106 drags you into the pocket dimension, an SCP-106 Exit Shard is placed in your inventory if you do not already have one.

Use the shard from your hand to teleport to the Overworld. It selects a safe position at the surface near your current horizontal coordinates. The shard is consumed after use, except when used in Creative mode, and has a 5-second cooldown.

The shard displays the message:

The rotting corridors tear open and spit you back into the Overworld.

If the Overworld cannot be found, it instead reports:

The shard finds no way back.

Crafting And Obtaining

There are no crafting recipes for the SCP-106 Spawn Egg or the SCP-106 Exit Shard.

  • SCP-106 Spawn Egg: Obtain it from the Creative Spawn Eggs tab or use:
    /give @s corrosion-wraith-rb6rnxgb:corrosion_wraith_rb6rnxgb_spawn_egg

  • SCP-106 Exit Shard: Obtain one automatically when SCP-106 sends you into the pocket dimension, or obtain it from the Creative Tools & Utilities tab.
  • For commands, the shard ID is:
    corrosion-wraith-rb6rnxgb:pocket_exit_shard

Progression And Strategy

  • Summon SCP-106 in an open test area before attempting a real fight.
  • Keep more than 2 blocks of distance when attacking if you want to reduce the chance of triggering the pocket-dimension drag.
  • Do not rely on walls to contain it; phasing can place SCP-106 beside or behind you.
  • Bring strong armor, healing, and a way to deal damage from range.
  • Avoid its 3-block aura, especially while affected by Wither.
  • If dragged away, prioritize survival and maze navigation over trading melee hits.
  • Keep the Exit Shard accessible on your hotbar so you can use it immediately after recovering from the transfer effects.
  • After escaping, prepare before engaging SCP-106 again: its health, armor, aura, melee debuffs, and phasing make repeated close-range attacks hazardous.
