Command Rift Wither

Quickstart

1. Open your Creative inventory and find the Command Rift Wither spawn egg in the Spawn Eggs tab.
2. Throw the egg on the ground to summon the Command Rift Wither.
3. Immediately back away — this boss grows quickly and starts pulling everything nearby toward it.
4. Watch it grow for about 14 seconds, then decide whether to fight or flee. It also spawns naturally in Overworld biomes, so you may encounter one unexpectedly while exploring.

Overview

The Command Rift Wither is a massive, mutated version of the vanilla Wither. It starts out at normal Wither size but rapidly balloons into a giant, screen-filling colossus. As it grows, it generates a gravitational rift that drags nearby players and mobs toward its core, crushing anything that gets too close. It is one of the most dangerous entities you can summon — treat it as an extreme boss encounter or a Creative-mode spectacle rather than a normal fight.

What It Adds

• Command Rift Wither — a giant boss-tier Wither variant with a unique textured "command block" appearance.
• Command Rift Wither Spawn Egg — found in the Spawn Eggs creative tab, used to summon the boss on demand.
• Natural spawning in Overworld biomes as part of normal world generation, in small groups.

How To Use

• Spawning: Use the spawn egg from Creative inventory, or encounter one spawning naturally in the Overworld.
• Observe the growth: Right after spawning, the Wither is roughly normal-sized. Over about 14 seconds it scales up to eight times its original size, growing hitbox, shadow, and reach along with it.
• Watch the rift: Once it has grown, it constantly pulls in any nearby living creature (players, animals, monsters) toward its center. The bigger it gets, the larger its pull radius and the stronger the pull.
• Avoid the core: Getting dragged too close to its center deals catastrophic damage — effectively lethal to anything without extreme protection.
• Combat: With one million health, ten-thousand attack damage, full knockback resistance, and a 96-block detection range, this is not a boss meant to be defeated through normal means. It is best used as a Creative-mode showpiece, a scripted encounter, or an extreme challenge for heavily prepared players.

Crafting And Obtaining

There are no crafting recipes for this mod — the Command Rift Wither is obtained purely through its spawn egg (Creative inventory) or natural world spawning. No recipe shortcodes are available for this mod.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Growth Scaling: The Wither's size climbs continuously after spawning, capping at 8× normal size after about 14 seconds.
• Gravity Rift Pull: Every tick, it pulls in all nearby living, non-spectator entities within a radius that expands as it grows (starting around 16 blocks and increasing with size).
• Core Crush: Entities pulled within a few blocks of its center take massive, near-instant damage.
• Extreme Stats: Enormous health pool, devastating attack damage, and full knockback resistance make it nearly unkillable and unstaggerable through normal combat.
• Wither Abilities: It retains all standard Wither behaviors (skull projectiles, armor-piercing effects, flight) on top of its rift mechanics.

Progression And Strategy

This boss is not meant to be casually defeated. If you choose to engage it:

• Keep maximum distance early, before it finishes growing — the pull radius and strength are much weaker in the first few seconds.
• Never approach the center once it has grown large; the rift's pull will overpower normal movement and knockback resistance prevents pushing it away.
• Consider using it as a spectacle, a scripted arena encounter, or a Creative-mode centerpiece rather than a farmable boss, given its near-invincible stats.
• If exploring the Overworld, be alert for natural spawns — its massive size and pull field make it hard to miss and dangerous to stumble into unprepared.
