Command Maw Wither

Quickstart

1. Open your inventory in Creative mode and find the Command Maw Wither spawn egg in the Spawn Eggs group, or use /give @s command-maw-wither-2gdrguoa:command_maw_wither_2gdrguoa_spawn_egg.
2. Throw the egg on the ground to summon the boss, or let it spawn naturally on its own in Overworld grasslands and similar biomes.
3. Stand within roughly 18 blocks and watch it pull you and nearby mobs toward its jaws.
4. Keep your distance or fight from range — getting too close means taking massive damage from the maw.
5. Watch it grow larger and more dangerous each time it finishes off a creature.

Overview

The Command Maw Wither is a hostile boss-type mob that looks like a hulking, oversized Wither wearing a command-block-textured "maw." Instead of simply attacking outright, it exerts a constant pulling force on everything nearby, dragging players and mobs toward its mouth before delivering a devastating point-blank hit. Every kill it lands makes the creature physically bigger, turning ordinary encounters into escalating threats if left unchecked.

What It Adds

• Command Maw Wither — a large, custom-textured Wither variant boss mob.
• Command Maw Wither Spawn Egg — used to summon the boss directly in Creative or via commands.

How To Use

• Spawning: Use the spawn egg on any block to summon the Command Maw Wither. It also spawns naturally in Overworld biomes as part of the ambient monster population, so you may encounter one without summoning it yourself.
• The Pull: Once nearby, the boss continuously drags entities — including mobs and non-spectator players — toward itself. The pull gets noticeably stronger the closer you are to it.
• The Bite: If you (or any living entity) are pulled within about 2.5 blocks of the boss, it delivers a massive attack, dealing extreme damage. Survivable only with strong gear, high health, or by breaking away from the pull early.
• Escaping: Move away and build up distance quickly, use knockback or blocking terrain, or fly/teleport out of range to avoid being reeled all the way in. Creative-mode players are immune to the bite damage but are still affected by the pulling force.
• Growth: Each time the maw's bite kills a living creature (including hostile mobs, animals, or non-Creative players), the boss permanently grows a little larger, up to a sizable maximum. A fully grown Command Maw Wither is a much bigger, more imposing target with a correspondingly larger hitbox.

Crafting And Obtaining

This mod adds no crafting recipes. The only way to obtain the boss is:

• Spawning it with its spawn egg (available in the Spawn Eggs creative tab or via /give), or
• Encountering one that has spawned naturally in the Overworld.

Abilities And Mechanics

• High Health and Damage: The Command Maw Wither is far tougher and hits far harder than a normal Wither, with a wide detection range for tracking targets.
• Area Pull Field: A large invisible zone around the boss constantly draws in nearby entities, growing stronger the closer they get.
• Point-Blank Execution: Anything pulled to melee range takes overwhelming boss-tier damage.
• Kill-Fueled Growth: Confirmed kills by the maw increase its size and hitbox, capping out at a much larger scale than its base form.
• Flight: Like a normal Wither, it can fly, letting it chase down airborne or elevated targets.

Progression And Strategy

Engage the Command Maw Wither early before it has a chance to feed on other mobs, since each kill makes it larger and more imposing. Fight it with ranged weapons or from a safe platform to avoid being pulled into its lethal bite range, and be ready to retreat if you feel yourself being dragged in. If it has already grown from consuming victims, expect a longer, tougher fight and plan for stronger gear or numbers before engaging.
