Quickstart

1. Craft a Cloudburst Lucky Block using the recipe below (you'll automatically learn this recipe when you join the world).
2. Place the block down in the world.
3. Break it with any tool (or your fist) to crack it open and receive one random reward — anywhere from useful survival items to a full set of overpowered gear.
4. Keep breaking Lucky Blocks to fish for the best drops: the Cloudburst Apple (grants flight!), the full Cloudburst armor set, and the devastating Cloudburst weapons.

Overview

Cloudburst Lucky Block turns an ordinary crafted block into a gamble machine. Every time one is broken, it hands out exactly one reward — never both a drop and its contents — ranging from vanilla treasure to unique, godly-tier custom items. Some rewards are simply useful, others are absurdly powerful, and one is outright dangerous. Collecting Lucky Block rewards is the whole point: build up an arsenal of legendary tools, armor, food, and weapons purely from luck.

What It Adds

• Cloudburst Lucky Block — a placeable, breakable block that dispenses a random reward.
• Cloudburst Sword — an absurdly powerful blade that also lets you place cobwebs.
• Cloudburst Pickaxe and Cloudburst Axe — instant-mining tools effective on any block.
• Cloudburst Bow — fires a spread volley of poisoned arrows.
• Cloudburst Poison — a thrown vial that strips a player's armor and poisons them.
• Cloudburst Apple — grants flight, huge health, and strength.
• Cloudburst Soup — a full-heal food that returns its bowl.
• Cloudburst Armor Set (Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, Boots) — extremely strong armor with a powerful full-set bonus and boots that grant flight.

How To Use

• Placing the block: Treat it like any other block — place it, then mine it with a pickaxe or any tool to trigger its reward. Each break gives exactly one item; the block itself is consumed.
• Weapons and tools: Equip the Cloudburst Sword, Pickaxe, Axe, or Bow like normal gear. The sword and pickaxe/axe deal enormous damage and mine almost instantly, and the sword keeps re-applying Sharpness even if disenchanted.
• Cloudburst Poison: Right-click to throw it at a target. If it hits a player, it removes all four of their armor pieces and inflicts Poison and Blindness — use with caution, since it works on anyone it hits, including yourself in multiplayer.
• Cloudburst Apple / Soup: Eat like normal food. The apple is always edible and grants lasting buffs even at full hunger.
• Cloudburst Armor: Wear each piece in its normal armor slot. Wearing all four pieces together unlocks a strong bonus effect suite. The boots alone grant the ability to fly while worn (survival players lose flight again once the boots are removed, unless another source of flight is active).

Crafting And Obtaining

The Cloudburst Lucky Block is the only directly craftable item in this mod — everything else must be obtained by breaking Lucky Blocks.

You automatically receive the Lucky Block recipe the first time you join a world with this mod installed, so no searching is required.

Abilities And Mechanics

Reward Pool — Breaking a Cloudburst Lucky Block gives one random item from a wide pool, including:

Only one reward is given per block broken — there's no chance of getting nothing, and no chance of getting more than one item at once.

Cloudburst Armor Full-Set Bonus — Wearing the Helmet, Chestplate, Leggings, and Boots together grants a large boost to max health along with a wide array of beneficial status effects (Speed, Haste, Strength, Jump Boost, Regeneration, Resistance, Fire Resistance, Water Breathing, Night Vision, Saturation, Luck, Slow Falling, Conduit Power, Dolphin's Grace, and Hero of the Village) that continuously refresh while the full set is worn. Removing any piece drops the bonus.

Cloudburst Boots Flight — While the boots are equipped, you can fly like in Creative mode. Taking the boots off restores your previous flight state.

Progression And Strategy

• Start by crafting a batch of Lucky Blocks — the more you crack open, the better your odds of collecting the full armor set and every unique weapon.
• Prioritize completing the Cloudburst armor set for its full-set bonus, which dramatically boosts survivability and mobility.
• Save Cloudburst Apples for emergencies or when you want temporary flight and combat buffs.
• Use Cloudburst Poison tactically in PvP to disarm an opponent's armor, but be mindful it affects any player it strikes.
• Because rewards are random, treat Lucky Blocks as an ongoing loot source rather than a one-time craft — keep a wool and dye supply on hand to make more.
