Quickstart

1. Craft the Cat Suit using the recipe below and right-click it to instantly equip it in your chestplate slot.
2. Sprint to feel the speed boost, then jump toward a wall — you'll cling to it and slow your fall.
3. Press jump again while clinging to leap up the wall and scale it.
4. With an empty main hand, left-click (swing) to unleash a claw scratch at nearby enemies.

Overview

The Cat Suit is a single chestplate armor piece that transforms how you move and fight. Wearing it grants wall-climbing, faster sprinting, higher jumps, and a melee claw attack — all tied to the one item sitting in your chest armor slot.

What It Adds

The Cat Suit has 6 armor points (chestplate slot), durability of 20, and enchantability of 15, comparable to leather armor with a magical twist. It cannot be repaired using standard materials.

How To Use

Equipping

Right-click the Cat Suit in your hand to auto-equip it into your chestplate slot, or drag it there manually from your inventory. A meow sound plays on equip.

Wall Climbing

Jump toward any wall so that you collide with it while airborne. You will cling to the surface and fall very slowly (almost hovering). Press Jump while clinging to launch yourself upward along the wall. Chain jumps to climb as high as you like.

• Fall damage is suppressed while clinging to a wall.
• You must be pressing into the wall (horizontal collision) for clinging to activate.

Sprint Speed Boost

While sprinting on the ground, your movement speed is continuously amplified. The boost applies every tick you sprint, so maintaining a sprint gives a noticeable acceleration over normal running.

Higher Jumps

Every jump gets a small upward velocity bonus. If you jump while pressing against a wall, the boost is significantly larger, letting you rapidly ascend vertical surfaces.

Claw Scratch

With an empty main hand, swing (left-click) to perform a claw scratch. This hits all living enemies within roughly a 4-block cone in front of you for 6 damage (3 hearts). A meow sound and critical-hit particles play on use. There is a 1-second cooldown between scratches.

Progression And Strategy

• Early mobility tool: The sprint boost and improved jump make traversal much faster than normal, even before you engage combat.
• Vertical exploration: Wall climbing removes the need for ladders or scaffolding when scaling cliffs, ravines, or the sides of builds.
• Combat opener: Use wall jumps to gain height above enemies, then drop down and immediately claw-scratch for burst damage on landing.
• Cooldown management: The claw scratch has a 1-second cooldown, so mix in standard sword attacks between scratches for maximum damage output.
• The suit occupies your chestplate slot, so weigh the feline abilities against losing a traditional chestplate's higher armor value on harder difficulties.
