Quickstart

1. In Creative mode, search for Cast Copper Ore, Raw Cast Copper, and Cast Copper Ingot. You can also obtain test materials with commands:
   • /give @s com_cast_copper_fnblr6jw:cast_copper_ore 1
   • /give @s com_cast_copper_fnblr6jw:raw_cast_copper 3
   • /give @s com_cast_copper_fnblr6jw:cast_copper_ingot 1
2. Mine Cast Copper Ore or Deepslate Cast Copper Ore. Each ore block drops 1–3 Raw Cast Copper.
3. Smelt the raw material in a furnace to make Cast Copper Ingots.
4. Craft ingots into storage blocks or use them to make Cast Copper Chains.
5. Place a Cast Copper Chain in an open area. It creates a decorative, direction-facing 2×2×2 chain assembly, so leave enough room around the placement point.

To test the chain directly, obtain its ingredients and craft it, or use:

/give @s com_cast_copper_fnblr6jw:cast_copper_nugget 2

/give @s com_cast_copper_fnblr6jw:cast_copper_ingot 1

Overview

Cast Copper adds a complete copper-themed material set for mining, smelting, storage, and decoration. Its main progression is:

Cast Copper Ore → Raw Cast Copper → Cast Copper Ingot

Cast Copper Ore and Deepslate Cast Copper Ore both produce the same raw material. Smelt either ore directly, or smelt Raw Cast Copper collected from mining.

How To Use

Mining the ore

Mine Cast Copper Ore or Deepslate Cast Copper Ore with a pickaxe. Each block drops between one and three Raw Cast Copper.

The mod tracks mined ore in the cast_copper_ore scoreboard objective. After mining an ore block, the action bar displays your current total and reminds you to smelt Raw Cast Copper. To show the counter on the sidebar, use:

/scoreboard objectives setdisplay sidebar cast_copper_ore

Smelting

Place Cast Copper Ore or Raw Cast Copper in a furnace with fuel. Each furnace recipe produces one Cast Copper Ingot.

Building with storage blocks

Use nine Raw Cast Copper to make a Block of Raw Cast Copper. Use nine Cast Copper Ingots to make a Block of Cast Copper. These blocks are useful for compact storage and copper-colored construction.

Placing Cast Copper Chains

Craft a Cast Copper Chain from one Cast Copper Ingot and two Cast Copper Nuggets. Hold the resulting Cast Copper Chain item and place it where you want the assembly to begin.

The chain uses the direction you are facing and forms a 2×2×2 decorative structure. Clear the area before placing it so the complete assembly has room to appear. The individual chain sections can be mined to remove the decoration.

The Cast Copper Nugget is available in Creative mode or by command. There is no listed crafting recipe for converting Cast Copper Ingots into Nuggets.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Both Cast Copper Ore variants drop 1–3 Raw Cast Copper.
• Cast Copper Ore and Deepslate Cast Copper Ore both smelt directly into Cast Copper Ingots.
• Raw Cast Copper can be compressed into Blocks of Raw Cast Copper.
• Cast Copper Ingots can be compressed into Blocks of Cast Copper.
• Storage blocks can be mined and collected as their respective blocks.
• Placing a Cast Copper Chain creates a multi-block decorative assembly rather than a single ordinary block.
• Chain placement follows the player’s cardinal facing direction.
• The mod records each player’s mined Cast Copper Ore and Deepslate Cast Copper Ore in the cast_copper_ore scoreboard objective.

Progression And Strategy

1. Start with ore: Mine Cast Copper Ore or Deepslate Cast Copper Ore and collect Raw Cast Copper.
2. Refine the material: Smelt the raw material in a furnace to produce Cast Copper Ingots.
3. Store large amounts: Compress nine raw pieces or nine ingots into their respective blocks.
4. Build with refined copper: Use Blocks of Cast Copper for solid construction and storage.
5. Decorate: Gather Cast Copper Nuggets in Creative mode, combine them with Ingots, and place Cast Copper Chain assemblies in cleared spaces.
6. Track mining: Use the cast_copper_ore scoreboard to monitor your ore-mining total.
