Grand Estate Furniture (BETA)
Description
Comment your furniture ideas! Ill make god-tier pieces and add them to the mod! Craft carved Renaissance and Gothic furniture for your grand estate. Furniture cannot be used to sit in just yet. These features depend on further advancements in Creativemode's infrastructure in the future, but the furniture pieces are gorgeous decorations. The coffin Sofa could not properly render, but the remainder of the furniture pieces are astonishing. I hope you all think so too! :) This mod is subject to future updates including: Additional furniture pieces, upon player request, furniture features including ability to sit in custom chairs once this feature is possible through this platform, and better texture mapping as the features here permit. Use with a shader for maximal effect. My recommendations: NEWB Complementary Shaders, and Solar Shaders, and VFX Core. Welcome to a new era of creativemode, one with furniture. Shout out to Wilson and the team for making this dream feasible, and their continued efforts. The addon file is listed under "Grand Walnut Table" This is the correct addon, it won't let me change the name. The model previews are not capable of rendering the furniture as it will be in the game, please reference the images I attached for real previews of the furniture. Post a comment for input on what furniture you want added. I will build anything and add it here to the catalogue for the first 10 requests.
Mod Wiki
Grand Estate Furniture MK1
Quickstart
- Gather the crafting materials for whichever piece of furniture you want (see recipes below).
- Craft it at a crafting table — each piece produces a placement item, similar to a normal block.
- Select the placement item and place it in your world like a block, facing the direction you want the furniture to face.
- The placer instantly builds the full multi-block furniture model around that spot, oriented to match the direction you were facing when you placed it.
Start with the Carved Renaissance Chest or Gothic Cathedral Table — they use simple, easy-to-find materials and show off how the furniture assembles.
Overview
Grand Estate Furniture MK1 adds a collection of large, decorative furniture pieces styled after Renaissance and Gothic architecture — carved tables, wardrobes, chests, sofas, daybeds, bar counters, a masonry oven, and a wine cask. Each piece is crafted as a single placeable item that expands into a detailed multi-block structure when placed, letting you furnish grand halls, taverns, bedrooms, and dining rooms with elaborate estate decor.
What It Adds
| Furniture | Description |
|---|---|
| Gothic Cathedral Table | An ornate carved dining table (two versions available) |
| Rustic Medieval Bar Counter | A wooden-and-stone tavern bar counter |
| Rustic Medieval Bar Counter (Empty Top) | A bar counter variant without a stocked top |
| Bone & Glass Inlay Daybed | A wide lounging daybed with bone and glass detailing |
| Black Coffin Sofa | A dark, coffin-themed sofa/bench |
| Carved Renaissance Chest | A decorative carved storage chest |
| Medieval Masonry Oven | A brick-and-stone cooking oven |
| Monumental Gothic Cathedral Wardrobe | A tall Gothic-styled wardrobe |
| Monumental Medieval Wine Cask | A large wine cask for cellars and taverns |
Each piece is several blocks wide, tall, and/or deep, made from many individually carved model segments that snap together automatically.
How To Use
- Crafting: Craft the furniture's placement item at a crafting table using the recipe below.
- Placing: Hold the placement item and place it against a floor or wall like any block. Face north, south, east, or west before placing — the furniture will build out facing that direction.
- Building: As soon as you place it, the single placement block is replaced by the complete furniture structure, made of several connected custom blocks forming the full model (tabletop, legs, cushions, panels, etc.).
- Removing: Breaking any part of the furniture removes that segment; to fully clear a piece, break all of its visible blocks.
There is no special tool required — these behave like decorative building blocks once crafted.
Crafting And Obtaining
Craft each furniture piece at a crafting table using the recipes below:

Most recipes use common building materials (planks, logs, wool, stone, bricks) while a few compact recipes use special ingredients like books, gold ingots, crying obsidian, or campfires to represent finer carved details.
Abilities And Mechanics
- Furniture pieces are purely decorative — they add visual detail to builds rather than functional storage or crafting behavior (aside from their appearance).
- Placement is direction-aware: the model orients to match which way you're facing when you place it, so you can line up furniture against walls or in room layouts from any side.
- Larger pieces (like the daybed and cathedral table) span multiple blocks in width, depth, and height, so leave enough open space before placing them.
Progression And Strategy
There's no unlock order — every recipe is available from the start. Plan your estate by gathering themed materials first (dark oak for Gothic pieces, spruce and stone for the medieval bar and oven, bone/glass for the daybed) and reserve open rooms sized for multi-block furniture before placing. Combine several pieces — table, wardrobe, chest, and sofa — to build out fully furnished manor rooms, taverns, or wine cellars.
