Bullet Storm Minigun

Quickstart

1. Craft Bullets — place a single Iron Nugget anywhere in a crafting grid to receive 4 Bullets.
2. Craft the Minigun — use the shaped recipe below (see Crafting section for the layout).
3. Hold the Minigun in your hand, aim at a target, and hold the Use button (right-click by default) to open fire.
4. Keep Bullets in your inventory — the Minigun consumes them continuously while firing.

Both items can also be found in the Combat tab of the Creative inventory.

Overview

Bullet Storm Minigun adds two items to the game: the Minigun and Bullets. Together they introduce a high-speed, hitscan ranged weapon that rewards aggressive, spray-and-suppress combat at the cost of heavy ammo consumption. Each pull of the trigger unleashes a torrent of instant shots, each dealing serious damage — but your bullet supply will drain fast, so stockpiling ammo is just as important as pulling the trigger.

Place 1 Iron Nugget in any crafting slot (shapeless) to receive 4 Bullets.

How To Use

1. Equip the Minigun in your main hand or off-hand.
2. Hold the Use button to fire continuously. The Minigun fires one hitscan shot every game tick while the button is held.
3. Each shot consumes one Bullet from your inventory. When you run out, the Minigun stops firing and you see the message "Out of bullets!"
4. Every shot produces muzzle and impact particle effects and a distinct firing sound, so you always have clear feedback on where your shots are landing.

Creative Mode: In Creative mode the Minigun fires indefinitely with no bullet consumption.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Hitscan targeting — shots connect instantly with no travel time or projectile arc. If a living entity intersects your aim line within range, it takes damage immediately.
• 16 damage per bullet — each individual shot deals 16 points of damage (8 hearts), making short bursts extremely lethal.
• Continuous fire — holding Use fires once per tick, producing one of the highest rates of fire available in the game.
• Crit particles appear on hit targets; smoke particles appear at the impact point when a shot misses all entities.
• Muzzle smoke emits from the barrel with each shot.

Progression And Strategy

• Ammo management is critical. At one bullet per tick, even a full stack of 64 Bullets is exhausted in a few seconds of sustained fire. Always carry multiple stacks.
• Bullet efficiency: One Iron Nugget yields 4 Bullets, and nine Iron Nuggets come from one Iron Ingot — plan your iron supply accordingly.
• Burst discipline: Against tough mobs or players, short controlled bursts preserve ammo while still delivering devastating damage. Against groups, sustained spray can clear crowds quickly.
• Crafting the Minigun costs a Dispenser, which itself requires a Bow. Factor the bow crafting cost into your preparation.
• Keep the Minigun in your hotbar with several bullet stacks adjacent for quick refills mid-fight.
