Bullet Storm Minigun

Quickstart

1. Open your crafting table and craft some Bullets first — place a single iron nugget anywhere in the grid to receive 4 Bullets. Stock up on plenty before heading out.
2. Craft the Minigun using the shaped recipe below (three iron ingots across the top, copper ingot / redstone / dispenser in the middle row, and a stick centered on the bottom row).
3. Place the Minigun in your hotbar, hold it in your hand, then hold the Use button (right-click) to open fire. Keep holding to sustain continuous fire.

Both items are also available instantly from the Combat creative tab if you just want to try them out.

Overview

Bullet Storm Minigun adds two new items to survival Minecraft: the Minigun and Bullets. Together they give you a rapid-fire hitscan weapon capable of suppressing almost anything in front of you — at the cost of burning through ammunition fast. Success with this mod comes down to preparation: craft enough bullets before the fight, then unleash overwhelming firepower.

How To Use

1. Hold the Minigun in either hand.
2. Hold the Use button (right-click) — the Minigun fires one shot every game tick for as long as you hold the button or until you run out of bullets.
3. Each shot is hitscan (instant hit, no projectile travel time), so simply aim at your target.
4. When bullets are exhausted the gun stops firing and you see an "Out of bullets!" message. Refill your inventory with Bullet stacks to continue.

In Creative mode / Spectator, the Minigun fires freely without consuming bullets.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Hitscan targeting — shots register instantly along your crosshair line; no leading targets is required.
• High fire rate — the Minigun fires on every use tick, making it one of the fastest-firing weapons possible.
• Heavy damage — each individual bullet deals 6 damage (3 hearts), making it devastating against any living target.
• Visual & audio feedback — every shot produces a muzzle-smoke particle at the barrel and either a smoke puff (miss) or critical-hit particles on the target, accompanied by a sharp firing sound.
• One bullet per shot — bullets are consumed one at a time from your inventory. A full stack of 64 bullets fires in about 3 seconds at maximum rate, so bring many stacks.

Progression And Strategy

• Early prep is everything. Iron nuggets are cheap (smelt iron tools/armor into nuggets, or use a grindstone), so mass-produce Bullets before any major encounter.
• Carry multiple stacks. At the Minigun's fire rate a single stack disappears in seconds. Keep 5–10 stacks handy for prolonged fights.
• Boss fights & mob farms. The per-shot damage and fire rate shred high-health targets quickly. Aim carefully at the start of a fight to make every bullet count.
• Ammo discipline. Burst-fire (short holds) rather than holding constantly will extend your ammo supply when fighting single targets at range.
• Creative tab testing. Use the Combat tab to experiment freely before committing resources to a full ammo stockpile in survival.
