Quickstart

1. Open your inventory — the recipe is unlocked automatically as soon as you join the world.
2. Craft the Bubblegum Magical Pickaxe using three Pink Stained Glass and two Sticks:

1. Hold it in your main hand and start mining or swinging at mobs — the magic kicks in immediately.

Overview

The Bubblegum Magical Pickaxe is a single, whimsical item that replaces your everyday diamond pickaxe with something far more delightful. It mines at blazing speed, permanently shimmers with an enchantment glint, and brings a burst of colour and sound to every swing and strike.

What It Adds

The pickaxe lives in the Tools creative tab and counts as a standard pickaxe for every purpose — it can mine anything a diamond pickaxe can mine.

Its item tooltip reads:

Abilities And Mechanics

🎵 Swing Particles

Every time you swing the pickaxe, colourful musical note particles burst out in front of you. This happens whether you hit something or not — just the act of swinging is enough.

💗 Hit Effects

Landing a hit on any living entity triggers three things at once:

• Heart particles scatter around the target.
• Cherry blossom petal particles drift down over the target.
• A soft amethyst chime sound plays at the point of impact.

🍬 Bubblegum Slowness

Every successful hit applies Slowness I to the target for 2 seconds, as though they stepped in sticky bubblegum. This works on any living entity, including players in multiplayer.

✨ Permanent Enchantment Glint

The pickaxe always displays the shimmering enchantment glint on its icon, even without any enchantments applied.

Crafting And Obtaining

The recipe is granted to every player automatically on joining, so it will already appear in your recipe book. You do not need to discover it manually.

• Pink Stained Glass ×3 — forms the pickaxe head
• Stick ×2 — forms the handle

Progression And Strategy

• The pickaxe's diamond-tier mining level means it can harvest any ore or block that a diamond pickaxe can, including obsidian and ancient debris.
• Its very high mining speed (12.0×) makes it one of the fastest tools available without enchantments — ideal for large excavations.
• In combat, the Slowness on hit gives you a consistent kiting or crowd-control advantage, keeping enemies at bay for 2 seconds after each strike.
• The pickaxe has 5 base attack damage (above a standard pickaxe), making it a reasonable off-hand combat tool as well as a mining workhorse.
• Because the glint is permanent and the effects are purely visual/status-based, you can freely enchant it further (Efficiency, Fortune, Unbreaking, etc.) without losing any of its signature bubblegum flair.
