Overview

The Bubblegum Magical Shovel is a diamond-tier combat shovel with a distinctly cute aesthetic. It hits hard, digs fast, and coats every enemy it touches in sticky bubblegum magic — slowing them down, launching them into the air, and showering them in heart and musical-note particles. It also sports a permanent enchantment shimmer, because of course it does.

The shovel appears in the Combat tab of the creative inventory and is fully craftable in survival.

Abilities And Mechanics

Every left-click attack on a living enemy triggers a chain of magical effects:

• Bubblegum Slow — The target is hit with Slowness II for 3 seconds, as if their feet are stuck in gum.
• Springy Kick — The target is launched upward with a bouncy burst of velocity.
• Particle Burst — Heart particles and musical note particles explode around the target at the moment of impact.
• Bubblegum Sound — A unique sound effect plays at the point of impact.
• Permanent Glint — The shovel always displays the enchantment shimmer, whether enchanted or not.

As a shovel, it also digs dirt, gravel, sand, and similar blocks very quickly, making it useful for everyday excavation as well as combat.

Crafting And Obtaining

The recipe is automatically unlocked for all players when they join the world — no advancement or prior crafting required. Simply open your crafting table and the recipe will already be available.

Progression And Strategy

• The Slowness II debuff lasts 3 seconds, giving you time to back off, re-position, or land a follow-up hit before the enemy can close in.
• The upward launch interrupts enemy attacks and can send mobs off ledges or into hazards — use terrain to your advantage.
• With 1,500 durability, the shovel lasts longer than a standard diamond tool, so you can rely on it as your primary weapon and digging tool without worrying about rapid wear.
• The shovel is stackable with enchantments, so adding Unbreaking or Mending will extend its life even further.
• Because it counts as a shovel, it receives the Efficiency enchantment bonus, making it an excellent all-purpose utility weapon for any explorer or builder who doesn't want to carry separate tools.
