Bubblegum Magical Sword

Quickstart

1. Open your crafting table — the recipe is automatically unlocked when you join the world.
2. Craft the Bubblegum Magical Sword using the recipe below.
3. Equip it and swing at any enemy to hear a satisfying bubblegum pop, watch hearts and cherry blossom petals burst around your target, and see them slow to a crawl before floating helplessly into the air.

Overview

The Bubblegum Magical Sword is a single, spectacular weapon that combines netherite-tier combat power with a sweet, bubblegum aesthetic. It hits hard, mines fast, and turns every fight into a pink, particle-filled spectacle. Despite its cute appearance it is one of the most powerful tools you can carry.

What It Adds

The sword appears in the Combat tab of the Creative inventory and always displays an enchanted glint, whether enchanted or not.

Abilities And Mechanics

Every time you land a hit on a living target, the following effects trigger simultaneously on the server side:

• Bubblegum Pop Sound — A custom pop sound plays at the target's location.
• Slowness II (3 seconds) — The target is slowed as if stuck in sticky gum.
• Levitation I (1 second) — The target briefly floats upward, as though lifted by a bubblegum bubble.
• Heart Particles — Six heart particles burst around the target's centre.
• Cherry Blossom Petals — Twelve cherry leaf particles scatter around the target as bubblegum confetti.

In addition, the sword has an extremely high mining speed multiplier, letting you break through almost any block with ease — no pickaxe required for most jobs.

Crafting And Obtaining

The recipe is automatically granted to every player the moment they join the world, so it will appear in your recipe book straight away. Craft it at any crafting table:

The sword stacks to 1 and cannot be stacked further, so carry it like any other unique weapon.

Progression And Strategy

• Early combat boost — Because the recipe only requires a Diamond Sword plus common materials (slime balls and pink dye), you can craft the Bubblegum Magical Sword as soon as you have a diamond sword and some slime, well before you would normally reach netherite-tier gear.
• Crowd control — The Slowness + Levitation combo keeps melee mobs at bay; use the moment enemies float upward to reposition or attack again before they land.
• Mining utility — Keep the sword in hand when you need to quickly break through blocks; its mining speed rivals dedicated tools, saving hotbar slots on exploration runs.
• Always glowing — The persistent enchantment glint makes it easy to spot in your inventory and serves as a visual reminder of its magical nature.
