Bubble Rider

Quickstart

1. Gather four Glass blocks and craft a Bubble Rider item at a crafting table.
2. Hold the Bubble Rider item and tap/right-click on the ground (or any surface) to summon a floating bubble vehicle.
3. Walk into the bubble to ride it — it lifts off and floats in the air.
4. Steer with your movement keys. When you're done, tap/right-click while mounted to pop the bubble and land safely.

Overview

Bubble Rider adds a single whimsical vehicle to your world: a large, translucent floating bubble with black eyes on its sides. You craft it, place it, climb in, and pilot it through the air. When you're ready to dismount, a quick tap pops it with a satisfying burst of particles and sound, dropping you back to the ground.

What It Adds

The bubble entity itself floats freely with no gravity, supports one rider at a time, and can be named with a name tag.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the Bubble Rider item at a crafting table using Glass arranged in a ring pattern:

Each craft yields one Bubble Rider item.

How To Use

Placing the bubble Hold the Bubble Rider item and tap/right-click any surface. The bubble vehicle spawns at that location and begins floating.

Mounting Walk up to the bubble and interact with it (the same button you'd use to ride a horse) to climb inside. The bubble seats one player.

Steering Once mounted, use your standard movement keys to fly in any direction. Strafing and forward movement are fully supported; moving backward is slightly slower.

Dismounting — Popping the Bubble While riding, tap/right-click (or press Jump, depending on your control setup) to trigger the Pop action. The bubble plays a pop sound, erupts in a burst of bubble and water splash particles, and is destroyed — leaving you standing at its location.

Abilities And Mechanics

• No gravity — the bubble floats in place and flies freely in three dimensions.
• Air movement — full fly-style navigation; the bubble can path over water and through the air.
• Health — the bubble has 40 HP and can take damage from the environment; destroying it this way also dismounts the rider.
• Pushable — the bubble can be nudged by pistons or other entities.
• Nameable — use a name tag on the bubble to give it a custom name.
• One-time use — popping the bubble destroys it permanently. Craft a new one to ride again.

Progression And Strategy

• The Bubble Rider unlocks as soon as you have Glass, making it available relatively early in a playthrough.
• Because the bubble can be destroyed by damage (not just by popping it yourself), avoid flying through hazardous areas with it.
• Keep a few spare Bubble Rider items in your inventory — each ride is one-use, so having extras means you're never stranded.
• The third-person camera zooms out automatically when riding, giving you a wide view perfect for scouting terrain from above.
