Blueflame Blade

Quickstart

Craft the blade at a crafting table using the recipe below, or find it in the Creative inventory under Equipment. Put it in your hotbar, select it, and attack a mob to deal damage and set it alight.

Overview

The Blueflame Blade is a melee weapon that combines sword attacks with extra damage and a fiery effect on hit. Struck targets are surrounded by blue flame, red flame, and purple spark particles.

What It Adds

• Blueflame Blade: A sword-type weapon with 7 damage, 36 durability, and an enchantability value of 10.
• On-hit effect: Adds 8 damage and sets the target on fire for 4 seconds.

How To Use

Hold the blade and attack a target as you would with a sword. Each hit triggers its extra damage and fire effect. The particles linger around the target for about 4 seconds.

Crafting And Obtaining

Use a crafting table and the recipe above. The pattern uses diamonds, a soul torch, and a blaze rod. In Creative mode, look in the Equipment category.
