Blue Slime

Quickstart

1. Explore the Overworld and look for naturally spawning Blue Slimes.
2. Defeat a Blue Slime yourself to collect Blue Slime Gel. Gel is dropped only when the slime is killed by a player.
3. Craft nine pieces of gel into a Blue Slime Block:

1. Place the Blue Slime Block and jump onto it to test its bouncy behavior.
2. In Creative mode, use the Blue Slime Spawn Egg to spawn a Blue Slime wherever you want.

With commands enabled, you can also use:

• /summon blue-slime-cxox3yg4:blue_slime
• /give @s blue-slime-cxox3yg4:blue_slime_spawn_egg

Overview

Blue Slime adds a blue slime variant, its gel drop, a craftable Blue Slime Block, and a spawn egg. Hunt the slimes for gel, then turn the gel into bouncy building and movement surfaces.

Blue Slimes naturally spawn on the ground in the Overworld and behave as hostile monsters.

How To Use

Blue Slimes

Search the Overworld for Blue Slimes. They move and attack like slimes, so keep your distance when necessary. A Blue Slime has 18 health and deals 4 attack damage.

Kill the slime yourself to make it drop Blue Slime Gel. The amount of gel depends on the slime’s size. Slimes killed without player involvement do not provide the mod’s gel drop.

Blue Slime Gel

Collect gel from defeated Blue Slimes. It is a crafting material rather than an equipment item.

Blue Slime Blocks

Place Blue Slime Blocks like other building blocks. They use slime-block behavior, making them useful for bouncing and slime-based contraptions.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Blue Slime Block requires nine Blue Slime Gel arranged in a full 3×3 crafting grid.

You can obtain the main content through:

• Finding Blue Slimes in the Overworld.
• Killing Blue Slimes as a player to collect gel.
• Crafting gel into Blue Slime Blocks.
• Using the Blue Slime Spawn Egg in Creative mode.
• Using the Blue Slime entity ID with /summon when commands are enabled.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Blue Slimes are hostile monsters with 18 health.
• They spawn naturally on the ground in Overworld areas.
• Player kills produce 1 or more Blue Slime Gel, with the amount based on slime size.
• Blue Slime Blocks are bouncy and support familiar slime-block interactions.
• The Blue Slime Spawn Egg lets you create Blue Slimes directly in Creative mode.

Progression And Strategy

Start by locating Blue Slimes in the Overworld and collecting enough gel for your first block. A full crafting grid produces one Blue Slime Block, so gather nine gel for each block you want to make.

Use the blocks for bounce pads, vertical movement experiments, or slime-based mechanisms. Keep extra gel available if you plan to build larger platforms or contraptions.
