Quickstart

1. Gather the rare materials needed for the blade (see Crafting And Obtaining below).
2. Craft the Blood Lock Blade at a crafting table using {{ cm:recipe id="941578" }}.
3. Equip the blade in your hand and go fight. It behaves like a sword but carries powerful hidden abilities.
4. Land hits to trigger bleeding, life siphon, and slash effects. Double right-click quickly to open the blade's Ability Hub.
5. Keep landing kills — the blade grows stronger the more you use it, and reaching 50 kills unlocks its ultimate power: God Hunter Regeneration III.

Overview

The Blood Lock Blade is a legendary, blood-fueled sword meant for players chasing an extreme long-term goal. It is intentionally very difficult to obtain, using some of the rarest materials in the game. Once forged, it evolves through several combat-based ability tiers as you rack up kills, culminating in a permanent hunter's blessing after enough bloodshed.

• A killstreak-based progression system tied to the blade's ownership, tracking kills and unlocking new powers as you fight.

Crafting And Obtaining

The Blood Lock Blade is deliberately near-impossible to craft, requiring some of the most valuable and rare items in Minecraft: a Dragon Egg, Netherite Blocks, Echo Shards, a Nether Star, and Blaze Rods arranged in a precise pattern.

Because a Dragon Egg and Nether Star are single-use, world-limited rewards, only one Blood Lock Blade can realistically exist per world (or per boss/base you're willing to sacrifice) unless you find more through other means.

Once crafted, the blade binds to its wielder — its powers and killstreak track the player who forged and carries it.

Abilities And Mechanics

The Blood Lock Blade is far more than a sharp sword — it has a set of triggered effects and evolving powers:

• Bleeding On Hit — Enemies you strike bleed for a few seconds, taking lingering damage over time.
• Blood Siphon — There's a chance on hit that the blade siphons life from your target back to you, healing a small amount.
• Blood Slash — An empowered strike that costs a small amount of your own health to unleash a devastating hit on your target. This has a cooldown before it can be used again.
• Blood Lock — After successfully hitting an enemy, you gain a short window to trigger a powerful locking effect on your target. This ability also has its own recharge time.
• Last Chance — When you're at critical low health, the blade can trigger an emergency defensive effect at the cost of some of its durability, potentially saving your life. This has a long cooldown, so use it wisely.
• Ability Hub — Right-click twice quickly (within about half a second) while holding the blade to open a menu showing your current killstreak, active abilities, and blade status.

Progression And Strategy

The blade's power scales with your killstreak — how many kills you've landed in a row while wielding it:

Once you reach the higher killstreak tiers (20+), you must keep dealing consistent damage with the blade within short windows — slack off too long, and you'll take a small penalty as the blade "starves." This pushes you to stay aggressive rather than coast on your streak.

Losing your killstreak (by dying, or letting too much time pass without dealing blade damage) resets your progress toward these tiers, so sustained, careful play is the key to unlocking the blade's full potential.
