Description
Summon new Golems with more health, then upgrade your Diamond guardian into a mighty Netherite protector.
Mod Wiki
More Material-Crafted Golems
Quickstart
- Choose one material: stone, coal block, gold block, redstone block, amethyst block, or diamond block.
- Build a T shape from four blocks of that same material: stack two blocks, then place one block on each side of the upper block.
- Hold a carved pumpkin and use it on the top face of the upper center block. The blocks form a guardian; the four material blocks are removed, and the pumpkin is consumed in Survival.
- Try right-clicking your guardian with its matching repair item when it is hurt. A Diamond Golem can also be upgraded by using a Netherite Block on it.
Overview
More Material-Crafted Golems let you summon new Golems. Each type has a different maximum health, and you can mend a damaged guardian with a material item or upgrade a Diamond Golem into a Netherite Golem.
What It Adds
| Golem | Material for summoning | Maximum health |
|---|---|---|
| Stone Golem | Stone | 30 HP |
| Coal Golem | Coal Block | 60 HP |
| Redstone Golem | Redstone Block | 80 HP |
| Gold Golem | Gold Block | 160 HP |
| Amethyst Golem | Amethyst Block | 180 HP |
| Diamond Golem | Diamond Block | 240 HP |
| Netherite Golem | Upgrade a Diamond Golem | 600 HP |
How To Use
Summon a golem by using a carved pumpkin on the top of the upper center block in its four-block T structure. The two blocks in the vertical column and both side blocks must all be the same material. The Netherite Golem is not summoned from a block structure: upgrade a Diamond Golem with a Netherite Block instead.
These golems act as classic Iron Golems. Right-click a damaged golem with its matching repair item to restore up to 25% of its maximum health. The item is consumed in Survival.
Crafting And Obtaining
The six summonable golems use stone, coal blocks, gold blocks, redstone blocks, amethyst blocks, or diamond blocks, plus a carved pumpkin. Build the structure from four of the chosen material blocks, then use the pumpkin on it. Of course, you can still summon the Iron Golem.
To get a Netherite Golem, use a Netherite Block on a Diamond Golem. The block is consumed in Survival, and the Diamond Golem is replaced by the Netherite Golem.
Abilities And Mechanics
- Repair items: Stone Golems use cobblestone; Coal Golems use coal; Gold Golems use gold ingots; Redstone Golems use redstone; Amethyst Golems use amethyst shards; Diamond Golems use diamonds; Netherite Golems use netherite ingots.
- Upgrade: A Netherite Block upgrades a Diamond Golem. Its name and facing are preserved.
- Drops: When killed, each golem drops 3–5 items of its matching material: cobblestone, coal, gold ingots, redstone, amethyst shards, diamonds, or netherite ingots.
Progression And Strategy
Start with a material you can spare, then summon a Diamond Golem for a very strong protector. Upgrade it with a Netherite Block when you are ready for the strongest type. Keep matching repair items on hand to restore your golems between fights.
