Quickstart
Craft a Grow Stone at a crafting table:
Place it with open space next to it. It works automatically, attempting to turn one randomly chosen adjacent air block into another Grow Stone about once per second. No redstone or interaction is needed.
Try Fast Grow Stone for quicker spread, or test Infection Grow Stone well away from anything you want to keep: it replaces solid blocks as it spreads.
Overview
Grow Stones are blocks that spread by changing neighboring blocks. Most variants only spread into air; Infection Grow Stone can replace non-air blocks. Growth checks the six face-adjacent blocks—not diagonals—and makes at most one change per attempt.
Intervals below are in game ticks (20 ticks is about one second). Growth happens while the area is ticking. Break a Grow Stone to collect it.

How To Use
Place a Grow Stone variant in the area where you want it to spread. Most variants need an adjacent air block to expand; solid surroundings contain them. Infection Grow Stone is the exception: it spreads through non-air blocks, so it can overtake terrain and builds. Keep it in an expendable test area, and break active Infection Grow Stones to stop their spread.
Explosive Grow Stone becomes a TNT block when a non-Core Grow Stone is adjacent. The TNT is not automatically ignited; use a normal way to activate it if you want it to explode.
Crafting And Obtaining
All recipes are made at a crafting table. The recipe icons in the table above open the full ingredient lists and layouts. The basic Grow Stone recipe yields two blocks.
Progression And Strategy
A simple progression is to craft Grow Stone first, then use it to make Fast Grow Stone. Fast Grow Stone is used for several branches, including Fastest and Infection Grow Stone. The slow variants provide more gradual spread, while the obsidian and titanium branches offer other durable options.
For a controlled test, start with a regular or slow variant in a cleared space. Avoid placing Infection Grow Stone near valuable builds: it can replace solid blocks in any direction, one adjacent block per attempt.
