Quickstart

1. Craft a Black Wool Blade using the recipe below.
2. Hold it and swing at an enemy for a melee kill, or right-click/use it to hurl it at a target from a distance.
3. Watch it fly across the battlefield and instantly finish off whatever it hits.
4. Pick your blade back up (or craft another) — it never breaks and never runs out of charges.

Overview

The Black Wool Blade is a strange, deadly weapon woven from black wool. Despite its soft, fluffy appearance, it strikes with lethal force — killing almost any enemy in a single hit, whether swung in melee or thrown across the room. It counts as a sword for all practical purposes, but its swing speed, damage, and mining ability go far beyond anything a normal sword can do.

What It Adds

• Black Wool Blade — an unbreakable sword-type weapon that instantly defeats enemies on contact.
• A throwable projectile mode — the same blade can be launched through the air to strike distant foes.

How To Use

• Melee attack: Simply hold the blade and attack an enemy as you would with any sword. One hit is enough to bring down almost any target.
• Throwing it: Use the item (right-click/use action) while holding the blade to hurl it in the direction you're facing. The thrown blade flies forward, arcing slightly under gravity, and instantly deals fatal damage to the first living creature it strikes before dropping to the ground or disappearing.
• Mining: The blade also works as an extremely fast digging tool, cutting through blocks quickly without ever wearing down.
• No durability loss: Combat and mining never damage the blade — it can be used indefinitely without needing repairs.
• Find it in the Combat tab of the Creative inventory if playing in Creative Mode.

Craft the Black Wool Blade using black wool and a stick in a simple bladed pattern:

Once crafted, the blade is permanent — it cannot break from combat, mining, or general use, so you only ever need to make one.

Abilities And Mechanics
