Quickstart

• Find baboons roaming in jungle biomes, or get a Baboon spawn egg from the Creative inventory’s Spawn Eggs tab.
• Use the egg on the ground to spawn one. With commands, use /give @s baboon-ol7gkkpi:baboon_ol7gkkpi_spawn_egg or /summon baboon-ol7gkkpi:baboon_ol7gkkpi ~ ~ ~.
• Watch them wander and look toward nearby players. Some naturally spawned baboons are babies; they grow up over time.

Overview

Baboon adds a jungle-roaming mob in baby and adult sizes. Baboons wander around and may turn to watch players nearby.

What It Adds

• Baboon: A land mob that naturally appears in jungle biomes, usually in groups of 2–4.
• Baby baboons: About 18% of naturally spawned baboons are babies. Babies grow into adults after 24,000 ticks—about 20 minutes of active world time.
• Baboon spawn egg: Lets you place a baboon wherever you choose.

How To Use

Baboons stroll around and look at players within about 8 blocks. There is no special interaction to trigger: right-clicking a baboon does not start a mod-specific action.

Crafting And Obtaining

Baboons spawn naturally in jungle biomes. You can also spawn an adult with the Baboon spawn egg, available in Creative mode. No crafting recipe is provided.
