Mod Wiki
Axe Sonic Stalker
Quickstart
- Open the Creative inventory and find Sonic Stalker Core under Items.
- Obtain a Diamond Axe and a Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template.
- Use a smithing table to combine the template, Diamond Axe, and Sonic Stalker Core into the Axe Sonic Stalker.

- Equip the axe in your hotbar and use it in two ways:
- Use the axe to gain a brief burst of Speed II and Night Vision.
- Hit an entity to empower yourself while slowing, weakening, and darkening your victim.
Overview
The Axe Sonic Stalker is an epic, one-handed combat axe with a dark stalker theme. It is both a powerful weapon and a fast woodcutter.
The axe deals 10 damage, has 2,031 durability, and cannot be stacked. It can also be repaired with Diamonds.
What It Adds
- Axe Sonic Stalker — a combat axe with on-use and on-hit effects.
- Sonic Stalker Core — the special smithing material required to create the axe.
How To Use
Activate the Stalker Hunt
Use the Axe Sonic Stalker while holding it to gain:
- Speed II for about 2 seconds
- Night Vision for about 4 seconds
Use the axe before entering dark areas or when you need a short burst of movement.
Strike an Entity
When you hit an entity with the axe:
- You gain Speed II for about 4 seconds.
- You gain Night Vision for about 5 seconds.
- The victim receives Slowness II for about 3 seconds.
- The victim receives Weakness for about 3 seconds.
- The victim receives Darkness for about 2 seconds.
- A brief follow-up burst of stronger slowness makes the victim even slower immediately after the hit.
The effects make the axe especially useful for controlling dangerous targets and keeping fleeing enemies from escaping.
Crafting And Obtaining
The Axe Sonic Stalker is made at a smithing table using:
- A Netherite Upgrade Smithing Template
- A Diamond Axe
- A Sonic Stalker Core
The Sonic Stalker Core is available from the Creative inventory. The finished axe appears in the Creative inventory under Equipment.
Abilities And Mechanics
Combat
The axe deals 10 damage per hit. Its on-hit effects benefit aggressive play: every successful strike briefly improves your speed and vision while impairing the target.
Darkness can make the victim difficult to see, while Slowness and Weakness reduce its ability to pursue or fight effectively.
Woodcutting
The Axe Sonic Stalker quickly breaks logs, stripped logs, wood, and stems, including:
- Oak, spruce, birch, jungle, acacia, dark oak, mangrove, and cherry wood
- Crimson and warped stems
- Their stripped variants
Durability And Repair
The axe has 2,031 durability and can be repaired with Diamonds. Keep spare Diamonds available if you intend to use it for both combat and woodcutting.
Progression And Strategy
- Use Creative mode to obtain the Sonic Stalker Core and test the axe immediately.
- Craft the axe before exploring dark areas where Night Vision provides the most benefit.
- Use the axe once for a quick movement and vision boost, then strike targets to refresh your advantage.
- Hit dangerous enemies before they close the distance so Slowness, Weakness, and Darkness take effect early.
- Carry a backup weapon or repair Diamonds for extended fights and heavy woodcutting.
