Quickstart

Craft an Automatic Gem Generator at a crafting table:

Place it down to start generating items automatically. It drops its output above the block, ready for you to collect. For faster production, place diamond, emerald, or gold blocks directly against its sides, top, or bottom.

Overview

The Automatic Gem Generator produces diamonds, emeralds, and gold ingots without needing fuel or activation. It works while placed and produces loose items above itself.

What It Adds

• Automatic Gem Generator: A placeable block that cycles through diamonds, emeralds, and gold ingots.
• Valuable-block upgrades: Diamond, emerald, and gold blocks touching the generator increase its production rate.

How To Use

Place the generator wherever you want its drops to appear. It starts producing on its own; no further interaction is needed. Collect the items that appear above it.

Each of the generator’s six directly adjacent positions counts separately: one on each side, plus one above and one below. Each adjacent diamond, emerald, or gold block adds 11 items per second to production. The generator starts at 1 item per second and reaches its 64-items-per-second cap with enough upgrades.

Breaking the generator stops production and drops the generator as an item.

Abilities And Mechanics

The generator cycles through diamonds, emeralds, and gold ingots as it produces items. Upgrades must be touching the generator; blocks farther away do not count.
