Asphiroth And Devast

Quickstart

1. Obtain Asphiroth And Devast from the Combat tab in the Creative inventory, or craft it with the recipe below.
2. Hold the item in either hand.
3. Right-click to use the next ability in the four-ability cycle:
   1. Summon four Shadow Dragons
   2. Unleash a cosmic slice storm
   3. Dash forward with a slash trail
   4. Teleport through the void
4. Continue right-clicking to cycle back to the first ability.

The item has a one-second cooldown after each successful use. Right-clicking during the cooldown does not advance the ability cycle.

Overview

Asphiroth And Devast is a single-stack, netherite-tier weapon representing a pair of cosmic daggers. It combines melee combat with four rotating abilities themed around shadows, slashes, movement, and the void.

The ability sequence is shared by the player, so the next right-click always uses the next ability in the cycle rather than allowing you to select one freely.

How To Use

Basic Combat

Use Asphiroth And Devast as a melee weapon against enemies. It is treated as a sword and can be used as a netherite-tier tool for blocks in the pickaxe-mineable category.

The item does not stack, so each weapon occupies one inventory slot.

Ability Cycle

Right-click while holding the weapon. The abilities activate in this order:

The cycle advances after each use. The cooldown is approximately 20 game ticks, or one second.

Abilities And Mechanics

Summon Shadow Dragons

The first use calls four Shadow Dragons into existence. They appear around you in a ring at roughly four blocks away and two blocks above your position.

The summoned dragons are powerful Ender Dragon entities named Shadow Dragon. They are not tame companions, so use this ability in an area where you are prepared to fight or contain them.

Cosmic Slice

The second use releases a storm of cosmic sweep attacks around you.

• Affects living entities in an area of roughly six blocks
• Deals 8 damage to each affected target
• Does not target you
• Works in all directions around the player

This is the most useful ability when surrounded by hostile mobs.

Shadow Dash

The third use launches you in the direction you are looking, with a slight upward boost. Sweep-attack particles mark the path behind you.

Use it to:

• Close distance with an enemy
• Escape a dangerous fight
• Cross a gap
• Gain a small burst of upward movement

The dash follows your full look direction, so looking upward or downward changes its trajectory.

Void Step

The fourth use attempts to teleport you up to 18 blocks along your line of sight.

When aiming at a solid block, the destination is placed just short of the block rather than inside it. The destination must have open space for both your feet and upper body. If the chosen location is obstructed, the teleport fails and displays:

The void rejects that destination.

Aim down a clear corridor or at open ground to use Void Step reliably. A successful teleport creates portal particles and plays an Enderman teleport sound.

Crafting And Obtaining

The recipe uses:

• Ender Pearls
• A Nether Star
• Diamonds
• A Stick

The recipe is unlocked when you enter a world and is available from the recipe book afterward.

In Creative mode, Asphiroth And Devast is available in the Combat inventory tab.

Progression And Strategy

• Use Cosmic Slice against groups of nearby enemies.
• Use Shadow Dash to reposition before the area attack cycle comes around again.
• Save Void Step for escape routes, cliffs, and short-distance traversal.
• Check your surroundings before using Summon Shadow Dragons; the dragons can turn a safe area into a major boss fight.
• Fight near open terrain when relying on movement abilities.
• Keep the weapon selected while waiting for the cooldown so you can immediately trigger the next ability.
• Since abilities cannot be selected independently, plan around the current position in the cycle rather than repeatedly clicking for a specific power.
