Aegyptopithecus

Quickstart

1. In Creative mode, find the Aegyptopithecus spawn egg in the Spawn Eggs tab.
2. Use the egg on the ground to spawn one near a tree with a tall, continuous log trunk.
3. Watch it wander toward a nearby trunk and climb on its own. Right-clicking the animal does not start the climb.

Overview

Aegyptopithecus is a gentle, four-legged forest dweller. It wanders, looks around, and climbs suitable trees without needing player direction.

What It Adds

• The Aegyptopithecus mob
• An Aegyptopithecus spawn egg

How To Use

Spawn the animal with its egg, then give it room to roam near trees. It has no feeding, taming, or breeding interaction; using an item on it does not trigger its climbing behavior.

Crafting And Obtaining

The spawn egg has no crafting recipe. Find it in the Creative Spawn Eggs tab, or use the summon command above.

Abilities And Mechanics

• Wandering: It strolls around and may look toward nearby players.
• Tree climbing: It seeks a nearby trunk made of at least three consecutive log blocks, approaches it, then climbs upward. It will not begin climbing while in water.
• Climb cooldown: After finishing a climb, it waits briefly before looking for another trunk.

Progression And Strategy

For the clearest view of its climbing, spawn it near a tall, unobstructed log trunk and leave space around the base for it to approach. If it does not climb, check that the trunk is made of consecutive log blocks and that the Aegyptopithecus is not in water.
