Coal Nugget

Coal Nuggets are a new crafting ingredient dropped when mining coal ore or deepslate coal ore. Instead of dropping a single piece of coal, each ore block now yields 4 Coal Nuggets, with Fortune multiplying the amount as expected. Silk Touch still causes the ore block itself to drop normally.

The Diamond Nugget is a small fragment of a diamond that drops from both diamond ore and deepslate diamond ore when mined. Instead of receiving a full diamond, you will receive 4 diamond nuggets per ore block. Combine 9 diamond nuggets in a crafting grid to craft a full diamond, just like iron or gold nuggets.

Instead of dropping a full emerald, each ore block will now yield 4 Emerald Nuggets when broken normally. Mining with Silk Touch works as expected, dropping the ore block itself rather than nuggets.

The Lapis Nugget is a small new item that represents a fractional piece of Lapis Lazuli. When mining Lapis Ore or Deepslate Lapis Ore, you will now receive Lapis Nuggets instead of full Lapis Lazuli gems, with each gem replaced by 4 nuggets. The Fortune enchantment still works as expected, increasing the number of nuggets you receive. Nine Lapis Nuggets can be crafted back into a full Lapis Lazuli gem using the standard nugget-to-ingot crafting recipe.
