Quickstart

1. Craft the Zeus Thunderbolt using the recipe below.
2. Hold it in your hand and go find something to fight.
3. Attack any mob or player — every hit strikes with overwhelming force.
4. Right-click (use item) while aiming at a block, mob, or the sky to summon a bolt of lightning at your target point, dealing massive area damage and playing a thunder-strike sound.
5. Watch for the enchantment glint — it's always active on this sword, marking it as something special.

Overview

Zeus Thunderbolt is a single, extraordinarily powerful netherite sword themed after the mythical thunder god. It behaves like a normal sword in your hotbar and inventory, but every strike carries the fury of a lightning bolt — both in melee and when called down from the sky at will.

What It Adds

• Zeus Thunderbolt — a unique netherite-tier sword with a permanent magical glint, usable in melee combat and as a lightning-summoning tool.
• A custom thunder-strike sound effect that plays whenever you call down lightning.
• The sword is available in the Combat tab of the Creative inventory for easy access.

Crafting And Obtaining

Craft the Zeus Thunderbolt using lightning rods and gold ingots arranged in a specific pattern:

Abilities And Mechanics

• One-Hit Melee Power: Any successful melee hit with the sword deals overwhelming, essentially unlimited damage — powerful enough to defeat almost any target in a single strike.
• Summon Lightning (Right-Click): Using the item fires a targeting raycast from your view:
  • If you're looking at a block or terrain, lightning strikes on top of that block.
  • If you're looking at the open sky, lightning strikes roughly 16 blocks ahead of you.
• Area Lightning Damage: When lightning strikes, all living entities within a few blocks of the strike point take the same overwhelming damage as a melee hit — perfect for clearing out groups of enemies.
• Audio Feedback: A distinctive thunder-strike sound plays each time you summon lightning, so you always know it landed.
• Unlimited Use: There is no cooldown or charge system — you can summon lightning as often as you like, every time you use the item.

Progression And Strategy

Because the sword deals such overwhelming damage in both melee and lightning form, it functions best as an endgame or creative-style tool for effortlessly clearing enemies, bosses, or hostile mobs. Use melee strikes for close encounters and the lightning summon for ranged strikes, area denial, or dealing with groups of enemies from a safe distance. Since only one can be held per stack, keep it in a dedicated hotbar slot for quick access whenever a fight breaks out.
