Abilities And Mechanics
Monsters can attune to nearby terrain. Fire, snowy or icy ground, water, copper or amethyst-rich areas, and gloom terrain favor Fire, Frost, Water, Storm, and Gloom elements respectively. Elemental monsters gain a related defensive benefit and can inflict an elemental effect when they hit. Wizrobes can also cast ranged elemental attacks.
The Ancient Hyrule Map points out the general layout: sky islands lie high above the surface, while the Depths and Zonai ruins lie below Castle Town. Zelda can join you as a postgame sidekick after the final seal; she follows and heals you nearby.
