World Fixer

Quickstart

1. Craft the World Fixer item at a Crafting Table (recipe below) or grab it from the Creative inventory under the Items tab.
2. Hold the World Fixer in your hand and use it (right-click / tap) to open the World Fixer menu.
3. Choose a dimension to renew, then confirm. Players in that dimension are teleported to a freshly built safe start zone at the world center, loaded non-player entities are cleared, and the central area is rebuilt.

Overview

World Fixer gives you an in-game tool to perform a controlled "fresh start" reset on one or more dimensions without leaving your world. Instead of deleting every saved chunk or changing the world seed (which Bedrock does not allow from inside a running world), World Fixer rebuilds a safe central start zone, clears loaded mobs and entities, moves all affected players to safety, and—for the Overworld—resets the time of day and weather. It's designed for server operators, map makers, or anyone who wants to wipe the slate clean and give their world a renewed starting point.

How To Use

Using the Item

Hold the World Fixer and use it. A menu titled "World Fixer" appears with the following options:

• Reset Overworld — Renews the Overworld's central zone, resets day/time/weather, clears loaded non-player entities, and teleports all Overworld players to the new start.
• Reset Nether — Same process applied to the Nether's central area.
• Reset The End — Same process applied to The End's central area.
• Reset All Dimensions — Runs the reset on all three dimensions in sequence.
• What does this reset? — Displays an explanation of what the reset does and does not do.

Every destructive option shows a confirmation screen before anything happens. Press Confirm Reset to proceed or Cancel to back out safely.

Crafting And Obtaining

The World Fixer is crafted at a Crafting Table. The recipe unlocks automatically once you have a Compass, an Amethyst Shard, or an Ender Pearl in your inventory.

It is also available directly from the Creative inventory under the Items category.

Abilities And Mechanics

What the Reset Does

• Rebuilds a central start zone (roughly 16-block radius around the origin) using dimension-appropriate blocks — grass and stone for the Overworld, Netherrack for the Nether, End Stone and End Stone Bricks for The End. Accent lighting (Sea Lanterns) marks the center platform.
• Clears loaded non-player entities in the affected dimension.
• Teleports all players currently in the affected dimension to the new safe start location just above the center platform.
• Overworld only: Resets the time of day, clears weather, and resets the world spawn point.

What the Reset Does Not Do

• It cannot delete every saved chunk or erase explored terrain. Already-generated areas outside the central reset zone remain in the world.
• It cannot change the world seed from inside a running Bedrock world.

These are fundamental Bedrock engine limitations; World Fixer works within them to provide the safest possible in-game reset experience.

Progression And Strategy

• Starting a new event or minigame round: Use "Reset All Dimensions" to simultaneously clear all three dimensions and gather every player back to a clean central hub before the next round begins.
• Recovering from a griefed or mob-flooded area: Target only the dimension that needs attention (e.g., "Reset Nether") to avoid disturbing players in other dimensions.
• Command-driven automation: Server operators can wire /scriptevent world_fixer:reset all into a command block or NPC trigger so players can reset the world without needing the physical item.
• Keep a spare: The World Fixer stacks to only 1, so consider keeping one in a chest at your base before performing a reset—it will still be there when you return to the rebuilt start zone.
